Partner having erection problems at time of ttc

Me and my partner planned when to ttc but now the time has come and he can't have an erection what can I do to get pregnant and what do you think is causing it Iam so disappointed

I would think it's the pressure to perform, Sugarpie -- almost certainly, in fact. The paradox is that your best bet when ttc is not to think of it as ttc but rather to enjoy as much unprotected sex as possible.

No problem, Sugarpie. Men's erectile systems are often affected significantly by stress. It can be a tricky one to navigate, but it is possible. And I know that you must be disappointed when he can't perform, but disappointment will not help. So, yes, if you can both see high-fertility times as an opportunity to indulge in pleasure, rather than in conception, then you may well see a difference not only in your partner's erections, but in your sex life in general.

(And I'm not suggesting your sex life is anything less than stellar, btw ... but there is always room for improvement, iyswim!)

We had this the first time the first month, then the second time we'd probably missed the boat but 2nd month was fine and now bean is nearly baked.

Thanks all, Amy83 Congs it's nice to know someone else has been in a similar position also I think it's def pressure and not doubt because we planned this together and we both want it

Also, is he on anti depressants or other medication? Or does he have any vascular or blood pressure issues? Stress is very likely, but it's also very possible that other physical issues might be making it harder to achieve erection to begin with.

Unless you are having fertility treatment i recommend not telling him that it is the fertile window. If you can get in the habit of having sex 2-3 times every week then you are bound to hit the right time. If you know you are ovulating just initiate sex but don't tell him, make it seem like you were just in the mood anyway.
