Polycythaemia Vera and trying to conceive

Hi,

I'm very new here and this is my first post so apologies I'm not very good with all the acronyms :).

We've been trying to conceive for over a year now and, after investigations by doctors, we have discovered that I have polycythaemia vera and I am JAK positive. This was a bit of a shock!

We've also been to see gynecologist who thinks that taking nsaids for so long (for constant headaches) may have given me polycystic ovaries. I'm off the ibrupofen now and on low dose aspirin and my headaches are much, much better. I've just started to take clomid.

I just wondered if there is anyone with polycythaemia out there in the same/ similar boat??
