As the title suggests ... Looking for some inspirational and uplifting stories about mums in their 30's managing to get preggers rather soon after deciding to ttc

I can just scrape in on this one! Had my second dc in May this year at 31, only took 3 cycles. Had first dc at 25 and it took 6 cycles weirdly enough...

I got my implant taken out last October aged 31 and I am holding my 6 week old now.

I'm 14 weeks pregnant, 30, and had my mirena removed on July 1st. It can be done!

Age 34 - 1st cycle after ttc didn't really dtd enough so not surprised that nothing doing. 2nd cycle dtd every 3days throughout the cycle without fail and got the bfp sure enough.

Age 38 used the clear blue ovulation monitor and got the bfp first cycle no sweat.

Thirties is young. Forties is a bit trickier.

Got pregnant with DD aged 30 in my first month of trying. Got pregnant with DS 3 years later, a month before I'd planned to start trying.

I fell pregnant with ds on the first attempt (know exact date as dh was travelling a lot that year, so not many chances!) - I was 36, ds is my third dc.

My granny married at 28 and managed to have 9 babies before nature stopped her. other granny married at 35 and had 4 children.

It's all very possible!

Fell with dd on first attempt aged 34.

I was about 38/39. Couple of months max.

I fell pregnant with DD a month before my 30th after barely a month of trying. Tried for 2 months for this pregnancy and I'm now 34 and 15 weeks. I know I've had it easy.

Dd came along when I was 34 after 2 months of trying. DS arrived 2 1/2 yrs later after one single carnal act in his month of conception. Dsis gets pregnant every time she looks at a bloke.Including at the age of 44.

Pregnant first month of trying at 38, then second month at 40
Though I do realise I was very lucky.
Am very relieved I had been good with my contraception for the preceding 20 years before I met a decent man!

Me, at 38.

Had an entirely accidental (but scrummy) baby at 46, too.

Blimey, yes, fell pregnant first time of trying twice - once at 32 and once at 34. Third time took a bit longer, 7 months at age 36.

After years of trying was told I'd never conceive naturally. Had Ivf which resulted in twins. When said twins were 1 (and I was 35), after getting frisky just once without protection (we were on holiday), I fell pregnant with third. I maintain anything is possible

Ahhhh thanks girls it's lovely to hear all your success stories.. It does help to counter the horror stories that you read about, as if to say you've got more chance of growing ab extra boob than conceiving in you mid - late 30's !!!! I'm 35 and currently trying to conceive dc3 and part of me just needed to hear some positive feedback to keep me motivated

At 32 got implant out in Sept, BFP November. Then 34 implant out in June, BFP in August.
I used a fertility app to try and guess fertile window.

My mum had me at 40 and my sister had her youngest at 43 ... Do you think good fertility can run in a family's genes ?

Yes! Age of menopause is often a trend in a family, sounds like late in your family so in your favour, good luck!

Me and DH had given up on baby number 2 after some disappointments and had stopped DTD completely by the time our first was 6. We agreed not to try any more.

Then my nephew arrived and after meeting him for the first time we decided to have "one last try." And we did - literally, once. I was 34.

2 weeks later, positive test. I held my breath right through that entire pregnancy, but it stuck.

DC2 is playing Angry Birds on the sofa next to me

Decided in February, dd came along in November last year.

I was 40 at the beginning of the week.

There is hope.

That's a lovely story trousers I'm guessing I should try not to be so uptight about my age and try to focus on the positives I'm the last of 6 and my mums granny had 17 children !!!!

After ttc 14 cycles to fall pregnant with DS1 at 31 (bit of a shock after falling pregnant with DTDs after 1 cycle at 29) I fell pregnant with DD3 on my first cycle aged 34! So I seemed to have got more fertile as I headed into my 30s?!

6 months if trying in 2013, bfp (sadly ended in mmc)

Not even trying fell pregnant end of 2013, beginning of 2014 (dtd 4 days before i ovulated, dh swears he pulled out) - perfect ds is lying on my tummy, I'm 32!

I was pg first month of trying at 30, then 4 months of trying at 33.
