Evening all! I am having one of my 'now I'm wide awake' nights. I am usually fast asleep by now. We went to bed early but I have got up again. DH has fallen asleep.

I have caught up with the thread. Cupcake, I am with Tori, you really need to think about things. You deserve so much better treatment from the person you have children with. He should cherish you, not be so awful
Depression is horrible, I have had it a number of times and it feels like I am carrying a weight on my chest when I have it. But it does go away. It takes a while and sometimes you need a bit of help but it does go away.

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 01:39

Lulu!! :D so great to see u on the thread again!! :D

I know I'm going to have to think about things. I hate making hard decisions :( and life impacting ones. Whoever said life was easy aye!

DS woke up at 1am! :( sad times!

LuluJakey1 · 26/10/2014 07:53

I was still awake then Cupcake. It was after 2 when I was tired - 3 really because of the clock change at 2. Did DS go back to sleep?

Our guest room is being done this week so I tired myself shifting stuff out of it- just light stuff like books and paintings. Now the baby's room is full of that as well as the pram and all his own stuff.

Siarie · 26/10/2014 08:11

If you are depressed cupcake then don't be afraid to take anti depressants for a short time. They really work and when you are down there, hormones play havoc with your brain (after all that's all it is really) but it feels like it will never be better.

They work though, then once the cloud lifts you can see the real picture again.

My nausea seems to reoccur on weekends at the moment! Which is annoying but that's the pattern I can see. Guess I'll just have to hope it works itself out.

How many scans do you get Ducky are they doing it every two weeks because of what happened? Xx

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 08:24

U were up late Lulu! I hope tonight is a better night for u :) and yes DS went back to sleep. I was shocked he did tho! He wanted to play and I was just so tired I just put him back in his cot and left him and he fell right back to sleep!! :O

Siarie, I know I'm just a bit worried about taking medication. My moms on them and she told me she could never come off them. I rele don't want that. And that's awful that ur nausea picks the weekends! :(
Hope u have a nice day tho :)

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 08:32

Cupcake I think we should banish them together Grin they would probably fall in love with each other Grin

Welcome back lulu!

Siarie, my scans are meant to be every 3 weeks to check growth as dd stopped growing randomly and they never found a cause so don't know the risks of it happening again but I have had them every 2 weeks so far as I always panic about movements and if I say movement is reduced they scan me within 24 hours. Confused everyone in the hospital knows me by name now! Grin

Hello Ducky. You sound as if you are doing well, apart from DH. Not long now! You must be getting very excited.

I am fine- busy and tired. Am coping fine at work and at home so far. DH is being great, he does lots more at home which makes life easier for me.

It feels very strange that it has passed so quickly. I think not finding out until I was almost 8 weeks has helped that. Now thete are only 10 weeks left. And the baby seems to do full body turns now which feels odd, I can feel the wriggle and you can see it- which entertains DH, he tries to make him move by tapping and talking to him. If this baby comes out talking about Braford City it will be no surprise to me.

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 10:29

I hate him.

I brought lamb shanks for a day in the week as that's what he wanted. But he's decided today he's cooking them so he can eat them so I'll have to go buy more for in the week!!
Lamb shanks are not cheap!!! Angry

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 11:24

Lulu does he react to DH? Have you had any thought on the type of birth you will have?

Oh cupcake he really is an idiot Hmm don't cook the next ones for him
Just cook for yourself!

And u never know u could have a little footballer in there Grin

Ducky I took some of the lamb! So technically he's cooked for me! Haha! :p

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 12:18

Ducky - I am going to the hospital and having an epidural. You can have a water birth there but I don't want one. I am a wimp and want an epidural.

I do think he might recognise DH's voice but if he does it will just be a droning spund going on and on about football and telling him all the things they are going to do together. Or it will be a strange whining sound when DH is singing.

He already has a football strip remember, and a drum and a giant bendy toy!

We are having mushroom risotto with DH's homemade bread (!) homegrown cooked tomatoes and Redesdale cheese (local) and stewed apples - from our tree- and custard. DH is cooking now. Oh the mess!

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 14:24

Ha that was my plan too lulu! But I saw the water pool room and I love it. I held out on pain relief right up until the end last time so am hoping I can do it!

But if they put me on the drip I will have to get out so will have an Epi Grin

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 14:50

Oh I loved my epidural! The relief was amazing! I was induced and it makes ur labour progress quicker so contractions got strong really fast and in the end I was that tired I gave in. But WOW! What a difference! Ahhh was lovely. Grin I'd love to do the water birth tho, like u Lulu im a wimp and I don't rele like pain as it scares me! So we'll see what I do when it finally gets to that point :)

Ur dinner sounds so yummy Lulu!!

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 15:04

Haha I have a very high pain threshold Grin I thought the relief imbeteeen contractions was amazing though!

Is it wierd not feeling your legs cupcake? That's the bit that worries me

H is being so horrible

I need to leave. And as early as tonight

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 16:59

He's left.

He left in tears but .... He left.

My marriage is over :(

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 17:21

Gosh cupcake.... Don't know what to say. I know I don't really know you but from what I have heart you have made the right decision for you and your son. It must still be very difficult for you though. We are all here for you x

Thanks ducky.
Weirdly things are so calm at home now he's not here. Ds is being such a good boy.

I hope ive made the right choice I rele do.

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 18:58

I bet it does! After all that time of treading on eggshells/being treated like poo now it's all finished. Enjoy it! Smile

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 19:05

Only thing I'm worried about is DS. Just want him to be happy.

Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 19:09

But I still could have fallen pregnant this month. so if I am I know I'll keep the baby. And know I'll be fine on my own

Ducky23 · 26/10/2014 19:24

I'm sure ds will be loads happier as he doesn't have to see his dad treat you like crap Smile

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 26/10/2014 19:32

Haha that's true ducky :)
My mom is popping round to watch xfactor tonight. Which will be nice :)

Siarie · 26/10/2014 21:56

Your DS will grow up happier in a calm enviroment, otherwise he will mimic he bad behaviour which is not what you want.

Enjoy the quiet, calm home you have right now. You deserve to be happy and so does your DS. Xx
