Thanks guys. Went for a feed at 2am after a kip, the kip made me feel like a completely different person!
Had some good news
he was on 2 lamps but he's now on one

and he is eating like a trooper. His levels keep improving. Just got to keep my fingers crossed for his infection blood results to come back normal.
I was a bit annoyed as I was brought up to the ward, they gave me a bottle and left me to it, he was having 15 -20 ml every 3+hours (less than half the bottle) no one said anything too me about it but it turned out he should have been having the whole bottle every 3 hours. I feel like te midwifes up here should be teaching new mums this stuff but they don't. I haven't done this before so really
Don't know this stuff! The ladies in scbu have been ace and hVe sat with me and showed me how to feed/burp. The lack of food would have been a factor in the jaundice.
They wanted me to try and get more sleep so the midwife was going to feed him at 5am and possibly give him a 4 hour feed if he would take it as he been eating so well.
he's looking loads better (that's quite difficult for my eyes cus to me he looked beautiful anyway
)
Do you work in a scbu tori?
Hope your postie turns up nice and early cupcake and save fmu!
Hope you start to feel better too lulu.
I hope today is full of good news for everyone x
