Shiny new thread

Well he has certainly made an effort tonight Ducky- a very big effort.

DH came home late, really tired. I had made tea and I felt really sorry for him. He has had a long day, nearly 12 hours at work and has done another hour's marking. He is in the bath with a bottle of Stella and the lights out and I have got some music on in the bedroom that he likes. I am tucked up in bed. He says he is in need of a cuddle and a good night's sleep.

Wow Ducky! That's amazing!! Hope he keeps that up!

Well DS woke up at 3am again..... Only difference is I cant move my neck.... It's swollen so so much that I've had to call nhs 111. Now waiting for a call from a doctor.
:( I have my photo shoot on Wednesday! So this better go down for that! :(

I know Cupcake, I keep telling him that but he is nice to me too and he works really hard and is trying really hard to make my life easier at the moment.

What has happened with your neck? Is it a sore throat type thing or a stiff. neck type thing? It sounds awful. Hope you are OK. What did NHS say?

My body pillow arrived yesterday, DH brought it up from the concierge desk downstairs for me. So so relieved, I slept so much better last night! All the tension on my back and hips is gone and I was finally comfy while sleeping.

I'm glad that your DH are being lovely it makes a huge difference. Although I'm used to it, I woke up this morning and DH had put the dish washer on before he left. He emptied the bin and had cleaned up the sick that one of our cats had done after giving them breakfast this morning.

Meanwhile I was still in bed sleeping lol! He also cooked last night as I had a headache. But I would be pretty unhappy if he wasn't like that, you have to take care of each other that's the deal.

Hoping I feel better today as I had a bad one yesterday, I was sick and did not feel well at all.

I have been admitted to hospital lol it's worse than I expected it to be :(
They were worried I may have had an abscess in my tissue near my lymph nodes (???? :s) but apparently that's quite serious as if I hadn't got it seen too it could have potentially cause death. So it's been quite a scary day! I'm on an IV drip and have a CT scan and ultrasound on my kneck tomorrow. Such drama haha :p

Oh my gosh cupcake! Hope you make a speedy recovery! What happens next?

Have just got back from my scan, baby is now over 6lbs one more scan to go and then he will be here. Crazy! Unless of course he decides to come before!

Thanks Ducky :) well so far I'm responding well to the antibiotics and swelling has gone down a bit. Not rele sure what happens next!

And that's brilliant Ducky!! He's a good weight then! fantastic news!

Oh Cupcake! Hope you are getting better quickly. Bet that gave DH a shock.
Abscesses are really painful. What is happening with DS?

I am so tired today. I was still wide awake at 2 am, same on Sunday night. I need some sleep tonight. Am having a nice bath and going to bed early. DH says he is coming with me after he has marked his exam papers.

I have made some vegetable and barley soup for. tea. Am off to get it heated up.

Lulu thanks I'm feeling a bit better now thank u. My temp keeps shooting up then coming down. My swelling has gone down a lot so I can now move my head haha :) DH has been shockingly rele good! He looked after DS and my brother all day!!! :O and my mom went off and got my some bits and bobs and new pjs to bring to the hospital for me. DH and DS came in too see me too :) DS went for a sleepover to my moms so DH could stay with me for longer. I miss DS so much and can't wait to see him later today! Need a cuddle!! :) I hope u managed to get a good rest Lulu

Thanks Tori :) it's always like having 2 children when uve got a DC and a DH! Haha I think they get jealous of all the attention the baby gets :p

Tori did you get the info you need? What is this cord thingy? I've heard about it but have no idea what it is! Is it your scan today? Or did I make tht up? If it is, good luck

You must feel great Tori. I am so pleased for you. Bit of peace of mind now. The picture is very clear- you can even see the nose and lovely little chubby cheeks.

Cupcake, have you had your CT scan today? Any news?

I was stll wide awake at 3 this morning, reading. I am totally knackered tonight. We have had pizza and coleslaw for tea and apple crumble and custard. Am ready for bed. Baby is getting too big to be doing star jumps now- it is a very strange feeling when he moves.

DH is marking his exams again. I am going for a nice bath and to bed. It is very cold and wet here.

Tori- my DH is great at the moment. He is being very thoughtful and caring ad I sooooo appreciate it. Cupcake - yours sounds like he is doing well.

I only had an ultrasound done on my neck today, my salivary glands and lymph nodes are inflamed but they said theyve no idea how it would of happened or what could have caused it. So I'm not allowed to go home!! :( :( :( so annoyed! I miss DS so much feels so crap without him :(
I'm still waiting to see the doctor with some test results too
