Ducky - Your DH and alcohol really worries me when you say how he behaves. I bet he can't just stop drinking. How old is he?

I have been internet Christmas shopping today. We don't go mad at Christmas, we buy each other a few funny things and some small nice things. Apart from that we just buy for Dh's family now my mum is dead. And we buy some wine for friends.

I got DH a washbag with a stag on the front that says Staggeringly Handsome.Just as something silly. He split his old one when we were in Paris. Also got him a new scarf and a book he has wanted for ages - he likes proper books, and some green chocolate brussel sprouts. Have my eye on a jumper/jacket thing at John Lewis that I know he likes. I love internet shopping.

Bought very cute outfit for baby. DH has bought him a penguin from John Lewis!

Internet shopping is very good Lulu I love it. U can get such good things reduced online too!

He's 28 I have told him there is NO drinking in the house when ds is here which I think he understands. But he does drink an awful lot

I love Christmas shopping! But never know when to stop! What's everyone's Xmas plans?

How do you feel about working on Xmas tori? Will they reduce your hours when your heavily pg?

Is it a hospital you work at? I've always wondered if pg women get treated at the hosp they work at?

He does drink way too much, he drinks a full big bottle of vodka on a Friday then another on a Saturday he says he drinks so much because 'we never go out' but the reason for this is that he spends all his spare money on crap and he expects me to be the taxi and stand all night while he gets shit faced and acts like a knob all night which I physically can't do anymore. I just can't win!

I was very very very upset as obviously we can't get any more pics of dd, and This one is an especially nice one and I think this made him think a little bit. I hope it did anyway, I won't have my son witnessing that behaviour

Ducky, I would have a look in the garden or the shed to see if a pod Has grown a doppleganger of your DH. If so and it is empty, you will find his body somewhere nearby and the man who returns home will be an alien.

Oh no tori you do have a lot on your plate. Remember to look after yourself though, is it the lactolose making you feel ill maybe?

Tori, I had awful problems with my bowels! Awful constipation, terrible wind, heartburn. It was quite exhausting. I started on lactulose but it made the wind worse and gave me cramps and diarrhoea. Then I went onto Movicol and drank lots of water which meant running for a wee all the time. I had rantanidine for the heartburn too. I was really fed up, bloated and tired. It has all settled down except for periodic heartburn and periodic wind

Well I will be thinking of you Wednesday tori, really really hope everything goes well

I have another scan tomorrow, last time I had one I was 32 weeks but all the measurements on the scan was 34 weeks. Need to find out if they are going to move my due date which will make me 37 weeks

I remember those weeks Tori, luckily I don't feel like that anymore. I was sick this evening though, it had been building all day.

To make things even worse my phone charger isn't working properly! :( having to keep wiggling it round to get it In the right position. Ordered a new one but won't be here till Wednesday! :O

Omg this is so wierd he has done the washing up, cleaned all the kitchen, finished blowing up ds toy, has been through my hosp bags so he knows what's where and put some washing on . (He didn't know how to use the washing machine but it's the thought that counts)

I'm in utter shock

He even returned home with a comfy new pair of pjs for me, I could get used to this!
