I'm sure all will be okay Tori :) I hope the next 2 weeks fly by for u.

I'm so tired today I could have slept all day. Finished work about 45 mins ago. Not sure if AF is on its way. Had some pains as well today but can't be cramps as not strong enough. So not rele sure what it was.

Ducky23 · 05/11/2014 17:52

I hope it flies by for both of us tori Smile

Not feeling positive anymore.

Ducky23 · 06/11/2014 08:18

Hmm Sorry cupcake... I know it's no help but your still not out until AF!

OP posts:
Siarie · 06/11/2014 08:59

Sorry hear that Cupcake, we will just have to wait and see if AF makes an appearance for you.

I've had a bad couple of days, I can't tell if I'm sick or pregnant sick lol! Lots of chills, tiredness, sickness, headaches. Wen comparably I was feeling fine Monday.

Hoping I feel better today, DH got me lemsip and strepsils just in case It gets worse. I've got a hair appointment soon, finally getting my hair done since my BFP. Longest time in between highlights ever! Luckily it doesn't look too bad.

Ducky23 · 06/11/2014 09:05

I did my hair the other day it was looking awful! Are you sure your allowed lemsip? When I was ill the midwife told me I could only have hot ribena or honey and lemon Confused

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 06/11/2014 09:22

Siarie please please please don't take any of the lemsip!!!!!!! It has an ingredient in it that stops blood supply to the placenta! So please dontttttttttt take it. As Ducky said, honey and lemon are perfect to use.
Sounds silly but just check the strepsils too as they are medicated.

Cupcake92 · 06/11/2014 09:24

And Ducky I think I'm more down this month as Im so determined as I don't think I'll be TTC in a while.
But it's good AF isn't here haha! This time last month it was! :)

Siarie · 06/11/2014 13:35

Oh I thought lemsip was ok as its paracetamol. Thanks for warning me I would not have known that! I haven't taken any, so far I haven't had a full blown cold come on.

However two people had colds at the hair dressers so I bet I'll get one now Sad.

Balls, I really like lemsip when I have a cold. I'll have to be a hot water and honey convert lol.

Siarie · 06/11/2014 13:44

Just checked the NHS website and the strepsils are ok, phew. That's one thing I suppose! Xx thanks again ladies, it's nice to have someone watching you back. I read the lemsip packet last night but it said seek medical advice (which is literally on everything even paracetamol) so I thought it was ok. But as you said cupcake it's the other stuff in it.

Cupcake92 · 06/11/2014 14:11

Phew glad u haven't taken any siarie :) it's the ingredient that begins with a "P" that's harmful to baby. I can't spell it tho haha Grin

Me and DS have had such a mega lazy day so far! It's been lovely :) deffo needed the chill out time. And had lots of tea :) we are going to go to the park this afternoon so DS can run off some energy so he goes to bed later haha Grin

Siarie · 06/11/2014 14:28

You need a spa day cupcake, that's what you need! I love spa days, I emailed the resort I'm staying at in December to see if I could have any treatments. They've said loads, I miss my spa days so looking forward to that.

That would chill you right out, you could go with your mum.

Ducky23 · 06/11/2014 14:30

I'm just slumped on the sofa Grin

Have been to a midwife appt this morning and she said she'd be surprised if baby stays where he is until my induction!

OP posts:
Siarie · 06/11/2014 14:42

I can't wait for you to give birth Ducky, then you can scare me with your birth story.

Ducky23 · 06/11/2014 14:46

Ha I'm hoping it will be easy peasy like with dd, but he's much much bigger so am expecting a bit more pain!!!

Midwife hopes if I make it to induction date they can just break my waters Grin

But there is a full moon on 6th dec!

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 06/11/2014 15:04

Yes siarie! A spa day sounds perfect!!! Ooo I love spas! :) my favourite is the heated sunbeds! So relaxing! :)

Oo Ducky how exciting!! :D I can't wait for u to have ur little boy! And a full moon means lots of babies! :D

Ducky23 · 06/11/2014 15:14

I know! Hopefully the moon will bring him! Id rather he came wen ready before my induction date! Smile

Did my birth plan briefly too. Exciting stuff.

Almost thought I was in labor at one point tho as I climbed off the bed a bit to quick and got sharp pains! Confused

Am going to try a water birth with just g&a even though it makes me sick.... Very sick Shock haha

OP posts:
Siarie · 06/11/2014 15:26

What did you have for your previous birth Ducky? Pain relief wise etc.

I'm debating going for a really nice birth centre at my GP, but pain relief is limited. But they have nice rooms with pools and beds for DH to stay as long as we want etc.

But I don't know if I'll want an epidural and if I do then i would be transferred by ambulance to the hospital anyway.
