Coming off pill TTC #1

Hi guys,

Going to start TTC #1 and have come off the pill and had my normal bleeding that I would have had in the 7 day pill free break, when do I start counting my CD? I'm trying to figure out when I will be ovulating. I know it could be ages. I did come off the pill last year for about 9 months and my periods came back regularly to a 28/30 day cycle so was pretty lucky, hoping it happens again. Any tips and advice you have for TTC first time round would be fab! Already taking preconception vitamins and upped excercise etc...

Hi, I'm in a similar position to you. My understanding is that you count CD1 as the first day of your bleed. If you use the Ovia app this is how it does it and then you can track your cycle accurately.

I came off the pill in Sept and am still waiting for my first post-pill proper AF..... wish it would hurry up! DH and myself want to start ttc but want to wait until i have proper cycles again!

Aha yes just downloaded that app, really easy to use! Aw good luck, it's really exciting isn't it! I hope it happens quickly, I'm 32 been married for 3 years and together for 13 xx

Oh- glad it helped! I'm 30, been married for 2 years and together for 5. I also have PCOS so I'm concerned this could take a while. Fingers X for you!!
