Confusion with CM

Hi everybody. I am TTC 1st baby, according to a few apps on my phone and being in tune with my body (ovulation pains ) I think I ovulated yesterday (CD 17) however today I'm experiencing more stretchy mucus even though I expected it to go back to being white and creamy. I'm not sure why, can anyone help? Thank you in advance

How long have you been ttc?

I think that ov pains don't necessarily mean that you have o'd at that point. It may still be yet to happen. I would keep dtd until your cm changes to cover all bases. The only way to really give you an idea of when you have o'd is to take your basal body temperature every morning.

You can have mucus before, during and after ovulation and it can vary each month for each women. Basically just have sex when you see it, therefore keep dtd. Agree with previous post. You have only ever know if you've ovulated by taking temperature. good luck
