Hi everyone after reading alot of threads the past few months i decided to join as im seeking some help lol
Me and my partner have been ttc for a few months now with no luck but im having a bit of bother trying to figure out when im ovulating, ive only been using an ovulation calculator to go by but i have irregular periods ranging from 29-34 days, i also just bought some ovulation tests but i dnt know how accurate they will be. We are dtd every day near enough but im just wondering what is the best way to tell when your ovulating? Its all so confusing! Lol

Hi Scottish the best way to know if your ovulating is temping.

If you cant temp ovulation tests will give you an idea along with ovulation pain (if you get it), EWCM etc

However even with a positive opks it doesnt mean you ovulated (I get positives but im not ovulating).

Thanks that link was really helpful! Im goin to give that a go and see how i get on. I think i was ovulating last week so its just a waiting game now

Thats ok.

Just make sure you temp at the same time everyday dont even get out of bed do it before you get up.

Be wary though if you do it orally if you sleep with your mouth open the temps wont be accurate.
