MrsE it sounds like a difficult thing to manage and as you say trial and error. I really hope you can find something to make it easier for youThanks

Cariad2014 · 20/10/2014 13:49

Choccy - keeping everything crossed for you - you really deserve a sticky bean after everything you've been through. Do keep us updated. I SO want you to see that heartbeat next Friday.

Dozygirl · 20/10/2014 14:06

Aargh all these different pills are confusing aren't they! I just started taking b6 this month in the hope that I'd stop the spotting before AF, now I'm worried ive delayed ovulation or whatever else it does. It's funny that u can take soy that brings it forward and then b6 which delays it. Maybe I should just take nothing except folic and chill out :( although soy is looking tempting due to its success rate in others.

teeniedeenie34 · 20/10/2014 14:06

iamhopeful I am also poas on saturday providing AF doesnt get me first! Grin

Dozygirl · 20/10/2014 14:12

xBlueberry88x · 20/10/2014 14:15

Afternoon Ladies,

Mega cramps today so hopefully it means im ovulating FF said after the positive yesterday today would be the big o!! but my god ouchies!!

Mrse Good news on the iron injections but sorry you have to wait!! Im on strong iron tablets from the doctor because im mega anemic the last reading was like 12 or something. Ive never been offered injections though.

Some glad your bfp is sticking fx!!

Treacle Im sure any bean would be fine women used to go through alot back in the day we have it easy now!

Genni Good luck in the new job

Frolic sorry AF got you

Ceds I asked my gynae doc about exercise because he wants me to loose weight while ttc...he said its nothing to worry about but I do avoid strenuous stomach exercises in the tww but im over cautious after 18 months ttc.

Choccy good see a sticky bean so far fx for you!

Dozy I stopped taking all the conceptions tablets and just take folic acid...the only other thing I tried this month was epo but thats also good for hair and skin so wat the hell. Conception tablets messed with my cycle.

ChandlersFarang · 20/10/2014 14:28

Choccy - congratulations on your pregnancy and am so glad it's looking brighter this time! You've really been through it - you just be one strong lady. Smile

Ceds - I worked myself into a right old lather about exercise to the point where I slowed right down and felt really crap and fat! Am now back on it and am loving it. The only one thing I saw that I still stick to is no jumping up and down/jolty type movements around when you would expect implantation to happen. That's from medical advice at my fertility clinic, and is aimed at women having IVF, but makes a lot of sense to me. Sit ups won't do anything - everything reproductive is going on well below the level of muscle you'd be training there so i wouldn't worry. Like English says it's better to go into pregnancy feeling fit and able to carry on exercising...

Dozygirl · 20/10/2014 14:31

I heard the conception tablets could be dodge so I just take 10mg vit b6, folic and EPO. I'm sure I read further back that someone took 100mg of vit b6, but I've looked online and should only be 10mg that u need. Will see what happens this month and if it's made it worse I'll stop. I just wanted to get rid of the spotting. I never used to have it and I worry everytime I have it now.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 14:48

Blueberry it's not something the gp can offer it needs to be done intravenously in hospital and can only be done under the guise of a heamatologist. I've been aneamic so much of my life my stomach and bowel are just hypersensitive now. If I take any tablets ferrous sulphate, glucanate or fumerate I end up with acute gastritis. Which is inflammation of the stomach lining. It's excruciating. Hence another way had to be found to get be to be able to have the iron. Straight into the blood is the only answer. Alas if I'd only got this referral a couple of months ago.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 14:50

I think I'm just resigned to the fact I'm going to get very very ill. I'm going into hibernation and I'll wake up in March Grin

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 15:00

MrsE, we'll all come and help if needs be, I'd be happy to bring you a plate of chocolate brownies to cheer you upGrin

I'm so tired! Dp said he'd bring home a takeaway so no cookingGrin gonna go home and snuggle on the sofa with my ds after school pick up.

furtivefeline · 20/10/2014 15:01

Hello, I've been away the last few days and generally trying to take my mind of TTC (totally unsuccessfully.) Pleased to see a couple more BFPs this week.

I'm hoping for a bit of sensible advice as not feeling very sensible today. POA ic when I got home a couple of hours ago. Looked like BFN - no surprise - so I chucked it away. Now just dug it out for another check (I know) and there is something really faint in the region where a second line should be.

Obviously don't want to get my hopes up but really want to know now if it could be real! Has anyone had this happen, and turned out to be a BFP - or a BFN? Think I'm 10dpo and used mid day wee sample. Annoyingly have just drunk a huge cup of tea so can't even do a repeat for a while!

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 15:01

Blueberry, fx you are ovulating, it sounds very promising Grin

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 20/10/2014 15:02

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 20/10/2014 15:03

fertive the same happened to me about 4 times in a row - bfn I'm afraid. Really don't trust the IC anymore they made me go super crazy imagining lines

OP posts:
spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 15:04

Furtive, do you have another test you could use next time? I got Evap lines on the ic's a few cycles ago and I don't trust them now. They have worked for others though but I think you have to really stick to the time limit. Fx for you.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 15:05

Spinning love a brownie, thankyou Thanks

furtivefeline · 20/10/2014 15:23

Ah thanks want and spinning you are both probably right.

Yes I have more tests. Am annoyed with myself really. I was going to try and wait til at least wednesday so as not to be in this situation! No doubt I will PO something else later just to torture myself further!

Spinning what do evaps look like on the ic tests?

flowerbombVR · 20/10/2014 15:23

Boosk · 20/10/2014 15:35

Oh MrsE that's great news but so sorry you have to wait. Have they suggested anything in the meantime?

Choccywoccydodah · 20/10/2014 15:43

Thank you ladies! Obsessively knicker watching but so far so good! Saturday was my goal, and tomorrow was as far as I was when I had my scan back in April and they saw the egg and yolk, just after I started bleeding the day before (ie today). So in effect I'm the furthest I've been without bleeding :)

Boosk · 20/10/2014 15:46

Huge congratulations choccy I think we might have been on the December bus together last year. Everything crossed for you for a good song heart beat next Friday Thanks Thanks

MrsE I know how annoying it is when people say have you tried this, that or the other, but just in case I have found spatone to be a really good gentle iron supplement. My DP took it when he had colitis. Thanks Thanks
