Step away from the hpts Treacle!!
Good luck in the new job Genni!
Sorry AF got you Frolic - what a bitch. But at least, like you say you're out of Limbo.
MrsE good luck with the haemotologist!
Terry's - I'd just get the Tesco Soys if I were you. They seem to have had a good result for Kitty and MrsE! They're 40mg, so take a maximum of 5 tablets.
Can't believe im only 4dpo.... Yawn! I'm wishing my bloody life away!

teeniedeenie34 · 20/10/2014 09:16

Morning all!

Good luck today Mrs E, really hope you get the iron injection

Sorry AF got your Frolic FlowersWine

That made me lol Treacle - "I didn't test... I was just tempted." It is so very tempting at this point though. Me and OH have decided I am going to poas on Saturday, that's if AF doesn't get me first.

A quick question to the ladies who currently take soy - this is my third cycle and I seem to ovulate rather late around CD18/19. Last two cycles haven been 27 and 28 days. Would you recommend soy for me to bring on ov earlier and therefore have a longer lp?

CD28, cramping since ovulation but now that AF is due I'm terrified every time I go to the toilet. I woke up at 4am this morning positive that she had got me but nothing... Stitch like feeling in lower right of my pelvis and get very uncomfortable if I eat too big a meal... Symptoms? Eurgh, need my heading looking at!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 20/10/2014 09:24

Sorry frolic make sure you have some Wine tonight Thanks

Af has gawn now so gearing up to start poaopk and dtd!

Looking forward to this weeks run of pregtober bfps!

Teenie - by all means give it a go, but bringing ov earlier doesn't necessarily mean you'd have a longer lp. You're lp usually stays the same, so you'd prob have a shorter cycle. Some ladies have taken vitB6 to lengthen their lp.

ceds86 · 20/10/2014 10:07

Morning ladies, nearly the end of another month!!how time is flying!
I wanted to ask an exercise related question if possible; what are everyone's thoughts on strenuous exercise during obulation and 2ww? It's my 'fertile' window at the mo - don't temp or use OPKs but I can tell by cm, cramps and ovia. During this time should I continue exercise as normal - or is there anything I should avoid? Want to go to a body pump class tonight but they do some hardcore ab exercises - would want to do anything that may jeopardise TTC? Also am I right in thinking running and spinning etc are fine if you are fit and used to it?

ceds86 · 20/10/2014 10:08

Sorry for spelling - should have said 'ovulation' and also would NOT want to do anything that would jeapordieen!! X

teeniedeenie34 · 20/10/2014 10:16

Thanks English, just slightly worried my lp is quite short. Will do a bit of digging and asking Dr Google about Vitamin B6, quantities, when to take etc.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/10/2014 10:16

Ceds- I've always continued to exercise at a level which I'm used to. I don't think there's anything that you shouldn't do at this point. When you get your BFP you can even carry on, just as long as you're sensible and don't push yourself too hard. Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 10:18

I'm back from hosp having seen the worlds best heamatologist. He completely agreed what I need is intravenous iron and I can have this for the rest of my life if need be. Hallelujah!!! I've been fighting to get this referral for 3 years. However the bad news is I can't have it until the third trimester. Sad I'm going to be so ill by then

spinningirl10 · 20/10/2014 10:20

Oh MrsE that's definitely a case of good news and bad! Does he have any suggestions of how you can cope/treat it until then?

lucieloos · 20/10/2014 10:36

Teenie be careful with vitamin b6. I took 50mg a day this cycle and ovulation is very delayed. Fx it is finally coming today as my temp is up a bit now but positive opk was 5 days ago. I have stopped taking it now and won't be taking it next month Hmm

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 10:36

Well I think it's going to be a case of trial and error. There's another drug I can try instead of ranitidine. To calm my stomach ulcer issue. So hoping I might be able to try one tablet every now and then. But I need to take 3 a day to make a difference. He's booked me In for the moment I'm into the 3rd trimester though but that's april and it feels a very long way away at the mo.

teeniedeenie34 · 20/10/2014 11:04

Thanks for the info Lucieloos Were you trying to lengthen your lp also? I take it you would not recommend then?

EnglishGirlsReturned · 20/10/2014 11:13

Glad the Haemotologist has given you the go ahead for the iron injections MrsE.Sucks that you have to wait until the 3rd trimester though. Hope the tablets work for you in the mean time

MrsExtraOrdinary · 20/10/2014 11:42

There's no doubt that the tablets work, but they have such an impact on everything else that's the problem. I've had so much bowel surgery and now with a stomach ulcer I risk both being agonising for the next 5 months. I just don't know how I'm going to play it.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 20/10/2014 12:10

Good morning ladeis - quick question for you all - I'm on CD46 now and I've just had tons of ewcm...what is going on?!?

Yes Teenie was trying to lengthen lp although it wasn't that bad to start with - normally 12 days with the odd 10/11 days thrown in very occasionally. I do wish I hadn't messed about with things now and I'm not going to take them again but everyone is different and maybe they might work ok for you.

Choccywoccydodah · 20/10/2014 13:13

Hi ladies!!
Just wanted to give a shout out to all my ladies who I was on the busses with from last September!

Just wanted to give you a bit of an update so I'm sorry for gate crashing!!

Had my 7th, yes SEVENTH consecutive chemical last month after having 2 months off trying. Was shit as we found out I was pg on our wedding anniversary, but tests never got any darker.

I found out a week last Friday (10dpo) that I was pg again. I took a frer and got a faint line. Last Monday I got a darker line at 13dpo and same last weds (15dpo/4 weeks). The line was no darker so I bought a CB digi and came up preg 1-2 weeks (I've never had this!).
I'm currently 4+5, and growing more positive that this one is actually 'it' but have a long way to go yet.
My dr is being cautious and wants me to have bloods at the end of the week if still no bleeding. I'll then book an early scan for next Friday (6+2) and see if we can see a hb! It's my birthday next sat, so that would be the best gift ever!
Feeling very well, not much symptom wise, just some odd stuff going on in my belly :/ and restless legs, and a bit sicky in my throat on and off but nothing else.
Anyway, just wanted to keep you all updated just in case you were wondering lol!
Hope you are all getting on ok and you get those lovely bfps very very soon. Lots of love xxx
