Late AF but BFN?? Help!

Hi, I have been TTC for 5 months now, so not very long, however, this month I am late for AF (by 2-3 days), which in itself is strange as my AF is very regular. However, did a POAS this morning (one of those expensive digital thingys) but it said BFN.. Anyone else had this, am I stressing myself out and making AF late this month, or is there a possible chance that the test is wrong?

HELLOOO!!! I have been trying for 5 or 6 months too - and I'm 4 or 5 days late and my test says negative. Can't help - but I'm in the same boat. I am just hoping the test was faulty.

Hi freshly, I have googled this also and quite a few people seem to get the same thing, some levels of hcg are not as detectable as others apparently and everyone is different. I even read that some blood tests didn't pick it up and I thought that was the sure fire way of finding out! Some people said they were 8-10 weeks gone when they finally got the BFP, so gives us some hope! Is this your first?

It would be my second - ironically I got my period a few minutes ago. I was really convinced I was. Good luck to you though x

Try one that isnt a digi, they are not as sensitive. People seem to really recommend first response or superdrug tests.. I got a very clear dark result on the clear and simple ones..you can get them from places such as savers and b n m etc...and there only 99p xx

Can't help but in the same situation. I'm around 4-5 days late but bfn on advanced CBFM. I've just ordered a first response test from superdrug and paid for express delivery so it should be here tomorrow and I will test again with fmu on sat. I have however probably invoked the law of sod and AF will arrive before then.

Sorry to butt in but i need to get my head around this.
Im 6 days late and iv had 4 BFN pregnancy tests but iv got all the signs....cold/flu headaches major backaches feel sick but never be sick, short of breathe going up stairs etc. My period last month only lasted for a few hours and was very light abd this month nothing has came. Iv just downloaded the Ovia app to track my cycles and it says my fertility window starts pn saturday but iv not had a period?? My mind is baffled "/

Oh and to add sore tingly boobs. Not all the time but i do feel pain there "/

My last period was very very light too, hardly warranted using a pad or tampon. I have some symptoms - really bloated, nausea, strange stretching sensations in womb area but BFN. (Four of them!)

I had a mc in June and it did take me a few days past AF due to show positive on a test then and my cycles have been a bit messed up since then but not as long as this current one is now. The suspense is killing me!

Im giving up on testing i think, im just driving myself crazy and im now thinking am i imagining these syptoms cause i want to be pregnant. Iv downloaded the app 'Ovia' and it says im due to start my fertalitity window on saturday right to next thursday. But can i ovulate if iv not had my period yet? Iv never wished for a period so bad just so i know whats happening!!

I'm on DC 42 now and have no idea what's going on! Had a chemical pg last cycle - got bfp at end of August but got my AF a few days later - and wondering if that's messed this cycle up. So not sure when I oved really. But I have been having tons of pregnancy symptoms etc. Think I'm going to step away from the tests for a week or so now and just see what happens. I think I'm going mad with it all too!!
