ANYONE ON LOESTRIN 20?

Hi ladies!! I've only recently stopped taking loestrin 20 to try and convince! I've just starting to bleed but its more heavy then periods while taking the pill! How do i know if it's a proper period and I can now ovulate or if it's still just a withdrawal bleed??

Hi keleg I was on loestrin 20. Came off it in may this yr. first bleed was my withdrawal bleed, next took 51 days and was barely there. It did last 5 days so I guess was a period but not certain. Next period was after 25 days and was more a normal period.

I don't think I started ovulating though till august. As I get a fair amount of bloating and discomfort around ovulation (I know this is the case as now us a cbfm) and didn't get this till august

I came off Loestrin 20 last Sunday, I've been on it for 12 years and I've barely had a period in that time (although today I had something that almost resembled one, which is odd because my body isn't due to realise it's off the pill until at least Monday!) So I will watch this thread with interest :) x
