Referred to Fertility Clinic

I have already had blood tests done at GP. DH has already had sperm test done. I think I'm unlikely to get offered IVF treatment as will pass CCG age threshold next month.

What do they actually do? Is this where I might get Clomid prescribed, etc.?

Me and my DH have just been referred to a fertility clinic. My DH had cancer and has fertility issues due to the chemo, I've had two mcs in the past, and from recent tests it looks like I haven't been ovulating naturally for some time. We've gone through sperm tests and blood tests already. We're still waiting for our first app to take place, so I can't tell you exactly what happens there, but I have been told that they can prescribe clomid at the clinic if needed, and the first app is a lot of form filling and going through medical history etc so the consultant knows then what the best course of action is.
It could also involve some tests at the first app, but I'm not sure exactly what tests might be called for.
