.. Please be kind, I feel very stupid asking this!

obviously, we are dtd alot. Every other day to be exact. ovulation tests don't work for me so we don't really have a 2ww, it's just sex and hope!

Anyways. I am always on the look out for the magic cm as an indicator. but I can't tell how I would know if it was cm or left over ejaculation. We normally dtd right before sleep and in the interest of helping those swimmers out I elevate my hips and go straight to sleep rather than pee/walk around. . so it would make sense that I'd leak some the following day.. but ofc if we dtd every other it's hard to tell esp as there's so much (daily showers I promise!)

here's the other thing. I noticed for the first time the other day that DH ejaculation is clear. I had always assumed white/creamy colour is the norm? I asked dh if it had always been like that but he said he wasn't sure. We are on cycle 15 now (following the depo causing irregular cycles) and I wanted to know if clear indicates anything about his sperm quality. (I was pregnant first month with dc1 so have never doubted his side before)

Not a stupid question at all. I have also wondered if it's EWCM or the semen coming back out If anyone knows the answer please fill us in (pun intended)

I have no idea what a clear ejaculation means (if anything).

I read somewhere that seamen will sink into toilet paper when you wipe whereas EWCM will sit on top of the paper.
I have tested the theory and this seems to be true!
Also (graphic sorry!!) EWCM will stretch between 2 fingers a couple of CM but seamen won't as much.

IME EWCM is unmistakeable and completely different to the products of ejaculation! It is clear and very stretchy; it will stretch for a couple of cm's between your fingers. Do you have regular cycles now?

I now know the answer to this!! I posted the exact same thing yesterday, wondering what is sperm and what is not. Basically, old sperm goes really sticky, can roll it into balls almost, looks kind of like bogies (tmi!!) and is a little bit like the consistency of the glue you get on the back of those hard safety barcodes they stick on things. EWCM is clear, not opaque in any way, literally looks like raw egg whites, is very wet and slippery and definitely not sticky, and it kind of all stuck together in a long line when it comes out and is very stretchy.

I literally didnt know the difference at all, I thought I ov'd a week ago but today is my definite O day (did opk too fr first time today).

All I can say is you will know it when you see it!! If you dont know if it is EWCM or not, it probably is not.

Also, I use that special conception lube and sometimes wonder if it's EMCM or the conception lube coming back out
