When would you POAS if you don't know when your last period was?

This seems like as good a place as any to put this, you ladies are probably the most knowledgeable on current pregnancy test accuracy!

I have no idea, and I mean none, when my last period was, no idea even if they are regular, I have just paid them no attention for a good long while. I've had unprotected sex just the once, so I'm sure when conception would have been if it had happened. So when do you think I would be likely to get an accurate result? 14 days? Longer? I would like to do it asap, but I'm balancing that with not feeling like I need to do it loads of times. I'm not sure how I would feel about being pregnant, but I do feel like I need to know one way or the other.

If you remember when you dtd then maybe take a test 2 weeks after that if you can't wait? Or I would say wait and see if AF doesn't arrive! I know how hard it is to wait though.

Thing is, though as I say I don't really have any idea when last period was, I know at the time of dtd, I was pretty convinced it had been some time more than 2 weeks previously. I was in no way concerned I might be pregnant, but now it's nearly 2 weeks later and I'm a little surprised it hasn't shown up. Not sure I'd be able to wait much longer than 2 weeks just on a need to know basis. I'm 41, it's probably more likely the start of the menopause than pregnancy from a one off!

14 days after DTD is when I'd test.

You could buy a load of internet cheapies and POAS (or rather into a receptacle and dunk!) every few days til either AF or a BFP!
