The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs

This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

I'm paranoid of every cramp and pull in the pelvic area. Cramps have been a bad sign of AF arriving so I'd prefer to just have no feeling at all. Sometimes I think I'm just imagining them. Temp still high but it will be at 7dpo.

ohlordyplordy · 01/12/2014 09:28

Just popping by to wish you luck in December ladies. You all deserve bfps for Christmas ( I nearly wrote bfps from Santa, then realised I better rephrase - images of little elf babies now!)

clairexxx · 01/12/2014 09:43

Hi again everyone. The only test I have in the house is a clear blue digital so I took it this morning and came read not pregnant. I'm going to get a frer later on today as I'm so confused over the line yesterday. Not sure if it was an evap, although I could see a faint line before the time limit was up but the line was really clear to see after an hour. The line is pink and Ive heard evap lines are grey. Just not sure what to think! I'm getting a few twinges low down so it could be that AF is on its way and last night (sorry tmi!) I saw one brown spot. (I'm 11dpo). The test I used was a tesco one and as there was 2 in the packet I had used one the day before yesterday and the test was completely white. I even got it out of the bin this morning to have a look and it's still white. Just not sure what to think at the moment xx

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 09:45

Cd 30/13 dpo no Af, but I've had a bit of spotting since Friday I did a FRER with FMU & BFN Sad…temp still high so now I am just waiting for the witch to arrive

I will update my stats whe she does x

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 09:57

Claire you sound as confused as me x I'm sorry you got a BFN…it's gut wrenching after getting a faint line on another test xx

Moraglebeaux · 01/12/2014 10:05

Hi guys. This is the first bus I've dared get my hopes up enough to board! I'm currently on day 45 of my normally 28 day cycle but am still getting BFNs. DP is convinced that I'm pregnant because I have developed an almost superhuman sense of smell, the scent of his deodorant made me want to shower him in vomit and my boobs have become really heavy. I have no idea if it's too late to hold out hope of getting my BFP, this whole waiting game sucks.

clairexxx · 01/12/2014 10:25

Fingers crossed for you Laura that you get a bfp soon! It's so horrible this guessing game. One minute I'm convinced that I know I'm pregnant and the next I'm convinced im not and cry at anything baby related. I'm hopeless! Welcome Moraglebeaux! This waiting game does suck. I'm so sorry to hear what your going through. Do you normally have a regular cycle? Maybe it's worth a visit to the doctor for a blood test. Fingers crossed for you both xx

Moraglebeaux · 01/12/2014 10:42

I have a pretty regular cycle. It's only ever one or two days either way. Here's the fun part, the next available appointment to join the local doctors is in January... And all the others nearby arent taking on new patients. Whilst i love london, moving back here is proving to be a pain in the bum!

JessieMcJessie · 01/12/2014 10:47

Moragle, could you go private just to put your mind at rest? Wouldn't be all that expensive in the grand scheme of things to see a private GP and get a blood test.

TrixieRay · 01/12/2014 11:00

Boo to the BFNs this morning, FX it is just to early.
Moragle, that sucks, would it be worth trying an NHS walk in?

Dozy, I could have written your post myself. I feel exactly the same. I'm only 4/5 DPO but am so aware of any tiny twinge in that area. I usually get mild AF like cramps in the week before AF and I think they are worse than seeing the temp dip/AF actually arriving. I have a really busy week so hopefully will be distracted and the time will go quickly.

Happy 1st Dec all!

Dozygirl · 01/12/2014 11:06

Been to the loo and there was pinky/creamy cm :(
Most likely the start of spotting yet again. It's happening earlier and earlier each cycle though. Glad I'll be getting a gynae appointment soon so I can interrogate them once and for all. Feeling mightily fed up. Got a day off with dp today though, having afternoon tea with pimms so that'll take my mind off it hopefully. 7dpo is too early for this too start. Temp is still high so maybe that's a good sign that it's not a progesterone problem at least.

Dozygirl · 01/12/2014 11:08

Sorry trixie that you're having cramps too. There's still always that hope that it's implantation cramps.

Sorry for the bfns for laurasdream and claire. Hoping AF staye away and it was just too early to test.

Moraglebeaux · 01/12/2014 11:19

Walk in seems to be my best option. I think I'll wait it out for another week before doing another home test and if it's still negative with no AF I'll head to the walk in centre. I just don't wanna go there for them to send me home to do another test in a fortnight or something :-/ thanks guys Smile

clairexxx · 01/12/2014 11:29

Sending you hugs Dozy. Thank you to everyone on here. I'm so glad I've found a place to discuss everything. I've done something very silly and no idea why I did it! I took an opk test and it was positive!!! Confused me more than ever as it was positive 12 days ago and I tested again for three days after and they were all negative. After today's opk was positive I took another straight after and that was positive too. AF is due Wednesday so I'm confused. Still not sure what to make of that faint line yesterday. I'm popping to the shops later this afternoon so knowing me I'll come back with some tests! I know the best thing to do is wait until after Wednesday but it's so hard.

loopylou1984 · 01/12/2014 12:23

Claire - opks show positive if you're pg! It sounds like a good sign to me! Xx

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 12:33

Moraglebeaux I think you should get a blood test done, and take it from there...my sisters AF went AWOL last month. as She had to take really strong antibiotics, as a chilld where she works had meningitis..she was freakng out, as the medicine was dangerous to take if pregnant...luckily AF arrived 2 weeks late. Either way it is best to know! The not knowing is unbearable x

Spinning Fx your dream comes true x I really hope you get your BFP! x

Trixie & Dozy Kmfx for the both of you...hang in there! We all hate the 2WW. I was thinking I should buy shares in some toilet roll company! I must have used a complete roll yesterday checking!

Orange Yay for ovulation! Get DTD! Smile x

MrsE Oh you must be so excited! x Delighted for you x

Claire We seem to be in the same boat! I got a faint positive on Saturday with a cheap test, then a BFN this morning on a FRER...I am 13 dpo...usually AF would arrive 11dpo, so I have no choice but to wait & see what happens. I will test again on Friday, if AF doesn't arrive. KMFX for you x

middles809 · 01/12/2014 13:56

Jumping over from the November bus and will stay until AF eventually shows her face. I'm on cd36 and cd33 was when she was due to appear. Plenty of bfns over the last few days. Am cetrain this isn't my month but who knows? Will try and hold off testing for another couple of days.

broodylicious · 01/12/2014 14:00

Happy December ladies!! How many bfps are you getting on here this month? Bumper month, I reckonSmile

mrse, how are you doing? How's preggo life treating you? Can't believe you're 13 weeks already, seems to have flown by! I'd seen sunbathing had a great scan last week so popped by you June mamas to beSmile

HairStylistToBoris · 01/12/2014 14:56

Hello middles, hope you get a positive result. Horrible waiting :(

I'm on my 2ww but with negligible chance this month of a bfp. Still doesn't stop me obsessing though. I'm a rubbish employee right now. I'm also obsessively drinking tea (I seem to need to keep moving, distracting myself) which if I did get a bfp would be a difficult habit to kick!

Rainy34 · 01/12/2014 15:07

Hi ladies, hoping this is the month where we all get a bfp for christmas, feeling very festive, we are finally getting a dining room table which will be getting delivered tomorrow, after that I'm hoping we can get the christmas tree up and be all festive,
I am going to focus on christmas this month , still want a bfp but with the spotting issues i am not building my hopes on it happening soon, got doctors appointment on Thursday so hoping that gets the ball rolling to see what the hell is wrong with me

Dozy - I really hope your spotting issue is not showing up again and that its the start of implantation

Orange - glad you got a positive - hope this is your month!!!

Spinning - hope your dream comes true

Shootthemoon · 01/12/2014 16:14

So sorry to everyone who is having confusion about BFPs, late AF, spotting etc.

Since DC1 I have developed spotting for a few days before AF arrives - or more specifically, I get spotting for one or two days, then a gap with nothing, then AF arrives. So frustrating!

In other news, DH was completely on board (surprise Wink ) with getting on with TTC a bit sooner than we had planned. I am ignoring the fact that I have just applied for another job! So this will be cycle 1, although he is away with work often. So we managed to DTD on days 8 and 9 I think, and I usually ov on day 12. We'll have to do a bit better next month! I have a 26ish day cycle so day 9 isn't completely out of the realm of possibility.

clairexxx · 01/12/2014 16:23

Fingers crossed for everyone on here. Couldn't find a frer today but I got some cheapies that has 20iu/ml of sensitivity and a faint line came up straight away! Digital one still saying not pregnant but that's two different brand tests that have shown a faint line with in the time limit and a positive opk. Going to test again in the morning and hope I can see a darker line. Thank you for all your support xx

Shootthemoon · 01/12/2014 16:25

claire, that sounds really, really positive (huh!) news and I think I'd heard that the digitals aren't that sensitive compared to some old school sticks. FRER are supposed to be very clear but they don't stock them in the few places local to me!

Can you maybe order online or something?

clairexxx · 01/12/2014 16:31

Thank you Shootthemoon! I'm surprisingly calm at the moment. My husband doesn't really want to give an opinion as he knows how devestated I am each month. I think it's hard on him too. I've placed an order for a frer so I hope I will need to use it! It doesn't say how sensitive the digital one is on the packet but I've heard that too about them!

laurasdream · 01/12/2014 17:02

I wonder what the pregnancy test sensitivity are...I checked the First Response test I did this morning, but I can't find any info on the box...the cheap one I did on Saturday morning was 20 mIU

Claire that sounds really really good! KMFX for you x I really hope you are pregnant! x
