The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs

This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

hc899 sorry about your ov pains but good that you are ago to ov

I have pre-ov nausea... Should ov in about 4 days (yes I get nausea for about a week around ov!) (then again for AF) (oh and every day during 2ww thinking I am pg!)

TrixieRay · 27/11/2014 21:15

Tessie, that is a really low temp. Mine have been low this month, though only about 0.1-0.2 lower than usual. I actually thought there was a problem with my thermometer as it was taking ages, took the end off thinking it may need a new battery as I’ve had it for ages and managed to break it….had to get a new one. FX for rises all round tomorrow!

So, CD19 and with no temp rise looks like it’s going to be another annoying long cycle. We DTD CD 14, 15, 16 and 17 though poor DH was struggling by the end , had to give him the night off last night. Going to keep on until we get a rise then try my best to put TTC to the back of my mind who am I kidding

I am so desperate for a BFP this cycle, as much as I am looking forward to Christmas with DH and family I was convinced that we would be expecting or even have a baby this Christmas.

MissMrsMummy · 27/11/2014 23:05

I feel the same trixie and now my friends are having babies when I thought it'd be me! Such a nice time of year to have a new baby in the family... Maybe next year!

Freckles79 · 28/11/2014 06:31

Morning ladies!! Next time someone does the stats please can my age be changed to 35 instead of 34....sob!! Grin

Frolicacid · 28/11/2014 06:38

popping in quickly before heading off for a weekend away with dh. i should ovulate in the next few days, so perfect timing!
can't decide wether it will stress me out more to take my thermometer and opk's or to leave them at home!! i think i'll probably pack them as not kniwing will distract me.

have a lovely weekend ladies. good luck to everyone expecting ovulation or bfp's.

dillydollydarling · 28/11/2014 07:53

All being well I should ovulate on Wednesday. I've had thrush since Friday though so hoping it clears up so we can dtd. I've never had thrush before so excitedly thought it could be a sign of pregnancy. Did a test on Saturday and bfn and then af arrived a few hours later! Had another 4 day period which was really light. Nothing like my pre bc periods!

I was really hoping to be pg by Christmas. As dp keeps telling me, we've only been trying for 5 minutes so give it a chance.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 28/11/2014 08:16

Congratulations nanny! Great news Smile

And, Yay! Flashing smiley on CB dual this morning - it's soo nice to know that something is actually happening in there Smile Have warned DH he his in for an active few days!

Have a lovely weekend away frolic

Dozygirl · 28/11/2014 09:02

frolic have a lovely weekend away. Id take them if I were u, I did when I went away because I was due to ov. Temp result was wrong though because of room temperature in hotel being different. I don't have to use them but at least if u have them with u then u can if u want to.

spinningirl10 · 28/11/2014 09:19

MorningGrin

I'm back, had a fab time, missed you all. Ff altered my ov date which corresponds with my dates. 7dpo now, let the symptom spotting commenceGrin

Will try and catch up a littleSmile

spinningirl10 · 28/11/2014 09:27

Frolic, have a lovely weekend away with dh and fx you ovGrin

Trixie, I'd love a bfp before Christmas, dp is sure we've done it this time!

Mamapo, great list of symptoms, fx for youGrin

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 28/11/2014 09:40

Hey ladies - think DH and I have missed this month (he was ill), but there is a minute chance still!

spinningirl10 · 28/11/2014 09:41

Oooh we have 3 bfp's already!
Congratulations ladies, exciting start to the busGrin

I may get 2 goes on the dec bus depending on when/if af arrives.

tessiegirl · 28/11/2014 10:36

Morning ladies!! Happy Black Friday! Has anyone bought any bargains?!

Frolic I would definitely take the opks and thermomter as I would hate not knowing what was going on, but that is just me!!

Spinning so pleased you had a lovely time away. Fx the timing was right!

Well, my temp shot right up this morning from yesterdays dip so hoping I ovulated yesterday. I think we may have missed the boat this month as we last DTD Monday night before DH went away and I very much doubt the little swimmers have lasted that long but you never know in this ttc game, I guess!! Sad DH gets home this afternoon so maybe we will try DTD just in case egg is still hanging around...

MaMaPo · 28/11/2014 11:06

Yes, not bad 'symptoms' of mine spinning but there were none today! Boo. Glad you had a great trip away though and hopefully you won't need your second go in December. If no BFP for me this cycle I think the next one would be on Boxing Day.

Tessie go for it, why not?

HairStylistToBoris · 28/11/2014 11:08

Klein I'm in the same situation as you, minute chance due to ill health. However this is not stopping me imagine symptoms.

How many dpo is it reasonable to start (imagining) having symptoms?

spinningirl10 · 28/11/2014 11:49

Off topic but does anyone use a kindle? Dp wants one for Christmas and there seem to be quite a few. Can you use them without wifi.....thinking about him using it at work when he's quiet.

mzzzf · 28/11/2014 12:13

Just popping in to say 'ola!' Smile

Wishing loads of eggie luck to you all - it's lonely on the AN threads, please come on over!!!

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 28/11/2014 12:37

I'm also imagining symptoms hair - just can't help it Grin

victoria401 · 28/11/2014 14:03

So CD9 today, not started dtd yet. Don't want to tire dh out too soon! We are going out to a party tonight so maybe he'll try and grab a drunken fumble. Beer seems to be his only aphrodisiac, the rest of the time I have to force him kicking and screaming!

Had our fertility appointment yesterday and the Dr said we had every chance of conceiving naturally, can't see a reason in my notes why it wasn't happening. Said it could take years but still possible. I'm pushing 35 already! Anyway, we are still ploughing ahead with iui next year. Still have 2 natural cycles left though. Bring it on!

Welcome back from hol spinning glad you had a nice time!

Not really read back sorry, hi everyone out there!

gennibugs · 28/11/2014 14:16

waves hi spinning Smile

victoria sounds like the appointment went well. I think you are absolutely doing the right thing with iui but good to know there's always a chance naturally.

cd 8 here, not much going on here to report!

nicelyneurotic · 28/11/2014 14:17

Hello lovelies!

I'm hoping for a BFP around 8 Dec. have a good feeling. Wanted to try last month but circumstances would not allow. I'm 31, ttc #2, first cycle.

Good luck to all Smile

spinningirl10 · 28/11/2014 14:29

Welcome nicelyGrin

Hi Genni....Waves backSmile

Victoria, I really hope it does happen naturally for you before you start your treatment.

photographerlady · 28/11/2014 14:45

Congrats nanny

Well cd20 no positive opk so think I missed it/haven't ovulated this month. Can't help to say I'm a bit upset Angry

CoffeeTwo · 28/11/2014 14:52

Victoria pleased to hear you had a positive appointment. Fingers crossed this is your month though.

I'm on CD7 today and feeling quite blue. I guess it's due to this taking longer than I'd expected. I'd love so much to be able to tell close family about a bfp on Christmas Day.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 28/11/2014 15:03

Spinning I got the paperwhite kindle for Christmas last year and I really like it! I love books as well but for practical use the paperwhite is excellent - it is light, the screen isn't backlit so your eyes don't get tired, and you have a choice of what to read. And you only need wifi to connect to the store and download new books - once they're downloaded you just put airplane mode on.
