Excited about the possibility that this month might be THE month

Been 'trying' with partner for about 5 months or so...but after getting nowhere we have ramped it up a notch. I am using a fertility app and we have knocked boots precisely 8 times during 'fertile' times.

I was getting a bit depressed about nothing happening - but I don't know why, cant put my finger on it, but just got an excited feeling this month.

Anyone else in the same position?

Yup, I got big hopes for this October too, I had an HSG last week and I got my birthday in 2 weeks, so now I just need the planets to alig and we're sorted .

Although with big hopes come big disapointments

I'm not very good with these acronyms. What's a HGC? And 2ww? If it means 2nd child. Yes... We already have 1. First one we didn't try for so was a complete shock and surprise. This is the first time we have ever "tried".... Exciting. Fingers crossed for us xxx

2ww is the two week wait for either positive pregnancy test (bfp) or af (period)

I am also hopeful this month and also on our 5th month. I have decided to continue this frame of mind but will have a major fall if it is bfn.

I'm also not going to test this month and wait and see what happens!

Oooh!! Thanks. The acronym help makes a lot of sense. Im so hoping this month is the month.... I'm not sure if I'm 2ww.... I've just come to the end of my "fertile period"... About a week till my period (or more).

It says on my app "10 days till pregnancy test" if that helps!! Lol.

you are definitely in the 2ww! exciting times ahead hopefully! When are you going to test. I am waiting till af shows this month as seeing the bfn's is not nice.

Yes - I've tested before all excited and it's negative and been upset so this time I'm going to wait till I'm late. I know when I'm due cause of my pregnancy app. I felt really pregnant yesterday (sore boobs!) feel normal today... Oh well - we will see!

Well I'm now 3 days late.... But tests are negative.
