Implantation!?

Hi Ladies.

Have been trying to conceive for a year with hubby, we already have one child who is 3.

I had very irregular periods (one every 3 months roughly) until about 3 months ago when I became regular, one period each month. Not quite clockwork but within few days of date due on.

I've had all sorts of tests and scans and have seen gynaecologist and he's not concerned at all and says all is okay so should catch.

We caught really very quickly with our first, was the first month we tried! So getting very disheartened now that we have been trying for a second for so long.

Anyway.....i am now on cycle day 40. Longest cycle since became regular is 36.

AF hasn't shown up and I've been getting BFNs.

Yesterday I thought I had finally come on, went to loo, wiped and there was blood so bought great at least I know what's happening....was like a light period. Went to loo a second time and same happened. Then after that it all just disappeared and nothing has happened since. Sorry for info but this morning I had a rather large amount of mucus.

Could it be a sign of implantation? Could I still get my BFP?

Hi bo, sorry you're having a rough time. Do you know when you ovulated? I think implantation normally happens 6-12 dpo, hope this helps.
Try not to get disheartened, you have one perfect child and have only been trying for your second for a year. In the context of alot of ladies on these threads you are really very lucky. I know ttc is a trying time but stressing never helps Flowers
