Hello! I'll join you. I don't know what dpo I am, as I've given up on the kits etc so as not to turn into a crazy lady (I've been trying for a while) but AF is due either 5th or 6th October. Today I went for blood tests for the 21 day test, and I should find out about those on Fri. Symptoms so far - none, apart from a general sense that something is 'happening down there' which is most likely just normal cyclical stuff, but it just feels like something's cooking! And yesterday I was very weepy at Harvest Festival, but then again I'm soppy generally and my 99 year old Nan is in hospital, so that's rather explainable too.

But anyhow, yes, I'll join you for this next week of calendar watching. Good luck!

lilypie13 · 29/09/2014 23:42

Welcome , we have about the same amount if time to wait so that's really cool fingers crossed x

SueBridehead · 30/09/2014 07:46

I'll join you! Also due 6th October.

It's cycle #3 for me and put lots of effort in ( at least every other day for 2 weeks), far more effort than previous 2!

Have an awful cold which is disguising any potential symptoms which is probably for the best!

Good luck guys x

Viewofhedges · 30/09/2014 11:18

Wow Sue, that is a lot of effort! We put in all our effort on holiday which was actually the week before OP, and then I think we managed every other day until the end of the fertile time; but now we're back at home and surrounded by DIY and the urge has entirely gone out of the window!
I don't really know which cycle we're on. We came off BC about 2 years ago and have had some months of being quite scientific about it and others of just being very lazy. Trying to be a bit que sera sera about the whole thing. Well he is... Hope your cold improves. How are your symptoms, Lily? I just have that really heavy feeling inside and vague crampy feeling that I do when I get AF. I also want to go to bed at about 9.30 every night - but I think that's just me generally! I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot, but here I am...

newbie6 · 30/09/2014 12:36

Hi

OP your symptoms sound v promising! Cycle 6 for me TTC no 2, AF due around 6th Oct I think however am not hopeful at all that I will get a BFP. Don't really have any symptoms so trying to remain positive but suspect I'll be disappointed again. Good luck all! x

MaGratgarlik1983 · 30/09/2014 13:49

Think I'm about 4dpo. Very tender bbs and tired but nothing else yet!

ProbablyMe · 30/09/2014 13:59

Can I join please? AF/BFP due 7th October, currently 7dpo.

I've got sore boobs and I'm very tired but this happens every month so I think it's progesterone related. I'm trying hard not to think about it hah and will be doing my very best not to test early again, hah

I think we got our timing right this month, DP works away mon-fri but all the way home on Peak day to DTD even though it meant getting up and leaving to go back to work before 5 the next morning.

Fingers crossed for everyone!!

SueBridehead · 30/09/2014 16:17

Thanks View! I was quite laid back for first 2 cycles but am now leaving nothing to chance until Christmas, would lioe a BFP before then. Have booked reflexology for next month and will buy pre seed if no luck this month as well.

No symptoms but am TTC #1 so not totally sure what to expect!

lilypie13 · 30/09/2014 18:11

Hi ladies welcome to all,we dtd loads before during and after fertile times pinpointed with positive opk also this was our first month using pre seed don't know how well it will work but it was lovely to use made us totally eager to get to bedtime of the following night Wink

I've still got original symptoms and and headache today fingers crossed SmileSmile

newbie6 · 30/09/2014 20:40

Ok .... What is pre seed and for those that have used, does it work and what is it suppose to do? Thanks!

lilypie13 · 30/09/2014 20:50

It's fertility gel it's effectively a fertility friendly lube that mimics the ewcm xx

OP posts:
newbie6 · 30/09/2014 21:11

Oh right thanks, so if you get EWCM naturally you shouldn't use it? Thanks

lilypie13 · 01/10/2014 00:03

I don't think it does any harm its pleasant to use Smile

Morning all. Can I join you?

I'm TTC no 3 (eek!) and on cycle 2, although the first we've really concentrated on. I've only had two AF since DD was born so not sure of exact timing but managed to DTD around ovulation (and quite a bit before while waiting for it!).

AF is due on the 12th (although I ovulated later than expected).

Really hope we've done enough this month. A June baby would be lovely Smile

Try not to send yourselves crazy symptom spotting this month ladies. My only symptom last time was a complete absence of PMT. I have a stack of internet cheapies at the ready Grin

Viewofhedges · 01/10/2014 09:37

Morning all. So I never get up to go to the loo in the night. This week - 4 nights in a row. I can't help but think this might be a sign! Coupled with pretty constant low-level cramps - all feels a bit odd. But it's definitely not in my mind, because I definitely did get up. Or maybe I'm just getting old!

Interestingly though when I was up tonight it took ages to get back to sleep. The thought that it might actually happen felt quite scary. Anyone else trying and wanting - but at the same time STILL has mixed feelings? Or is that normal as well?!

For the first time ever I'm thinking about doing a test before AF is due. It's due Sun/Mon so I was thinking Saturday might be safe?

Oh this is a long week...

AnythingNotEverything · 01/10/2014 10:06

View - I'm both excited and terrified, but mainly because of the small potential age gap. And the fact that I found pregnancy really tiring last time and I'm not sure how I'll cope. And I'm worried about going back to work pregnant. Definitely not just you!

I think it's normal. Any baby is a huge change, especially your first.

Viewofhedges · 01/10/2014 11:21

Anything It would be my first, if it happens. Probably first and last, as I'm ancient and so is he! (37 and 42). We just are really, really happy together (late marriage!) and sometimes I worry that having another person around will damage that. And then other times I think that having another person around would be the most brilliant thing ever. So every time AF comes along I'm sad / relieved / fed up / confused... Roll on the weekend when I can POAS. I am so overthinking this this month...!

AnythingNotEverything · 01/10/2014 12:07

It really is a huge leap into the unknown. Exciting, but scary too.

TheBiscuitStrikesBack · 01/10/2014 12:12

The 2WW really is hellish.

I am a right mardy cow and I know it's just down to anxiety. Feeling rather emotional.

I would be so much better if you could just find out as soon as your body does - I'm not greedy, I'm not looking for several attempts a month, just instant "yes" or "no"...none of this hanging about shite.

hopefull2424 · 01/10/2014 13:19

Can I join please. Just entering the tww. Due around the 10th October.
We are ttc #3 so very exciting but a little nerve wracking.
This is cycle 3 after a chem pg last month.
Someone needs to come and tell me off already as Im imagining every symptom going!!

AnythingNotEverything · 01/10/2014 14:02

Yes Biscuit - the hanging about, the hope, and then the disappointment combined with either pmt or AF. Nature is a bitch sometimes.

AnythingNotEverything · 01/10/2014 14:03

Hopefull - what are your age gaps so far? (This is my current obsession). Sorry about the chem preganncy. Very cruel. See my previous post ...

ProbablyMe · 01/10/2014 15:54

I'm ttc # 5 - my first with my partner (now divorced for my DS's dad). I already have 4 DS aged 17, 15, 13 and 11 so a big gap here!! There were only 17 months between #2 and # 3 though! My DP also has 2 DD aged 10 and 8 who live with their mum. I suspect we both may be mad!! We took all 6 on holiday abroad this year and it was great.

I never thought DP would want anymore children (I'm 40, he's 38) but when I finally broached the subject he was as enthusiastic as I was! I think we thrive on chaos!

DS1 will be off to uni and DS2 is joining the army next year so it should be a bit quieter at home.

ChampagneTastes · 01/10/2014 16:08

I've been avoiding joining these for a while because I've been having increasing difficulty being happy for everyone else getting their BFP. However, I'm 21 months TTC DC2; I've been completely alcohol free for two months, virtually no caffeine and I know we DTD before during and after the crucial points of this month. Plus DH is dropping his sperm sample in on Tuesday so we're bound to be pregnant thus rendering this little humiliation unnecessary...

Anyway, I'm due on or around Tuesday. I appear to be suffering from flu. If I concentrate VERY hard I have achy boobs. I don't actively appear to have any menstrual symptoms.

Good luck everyone.

hopefull2424 · 01/10/2014 17:22

My dd is 6 and my ds is 3 so hopefully have another one soon. Alm this ttc abd tww are starting to get to me. Could do with a holiday x
