cervix position ttc

Happy sunday ladies.

I have a quick question. So I've been tracking my cervical position and it's supposed to be high soft and open when you ovulate and then drop down and harden before period, right? But today and yesterday mine is so high I can't reach it, and im due on tomorrow and, sorry tmi, but when I went to the loo then I had a small mucus plug, and I am very very wet and have been for the past few days.
I know this could just be because it's my first cycle off BC and it's all over the place but I have been having cramps on and off the last few days feeling like AF is going to show but nothing yet. I tested negative yesterday. Did anyone else experience this begining of preg? Or is anyone experiencing this TTC and going mental like me?

I check this, every cycle. Every cycle I convince myself I am preg cos it stays high and closed right up until the bleeding starts!

Having looked into this an unhealthy amount a lot, I am sorry to say it doesn't mean anything. Whilst in pregnancy it is often in this position at that time, it doesn't mean that it is due to pregnancy and in fact it can stay open for ages after pregnancy occurs.

Drive myself mental with it -despite having discovered it doesn't mean anything!
