Hi there,
I came off the Yasmin pill 30 days ago and have had plenty of unprotected sex ever since. I had a withdrawal bleed on the 3rd day off the pill, and only had that for two days. I then experience cramping and back ache about two weeks ago ... And was still having sex. I got a light pink spotting (just the once) 2 nights ago ... But a day before that I tested Neg. Could this mean I am pregnant? If so how long do you test after what you think is implantation bleeding? Thanks

It can take a long time for the contraceptive pill to leave your system so I'm not 100% sure you would be getting pregnancy symptoms yet! But I could be wrong! Goof luck, don't give up! It can take years to fall pregnant!

You could be though. According to zita west (books), there may be an increased likelihood of conceiving shortly after coming off the pill. I would leave it a good week or two after spotting to test.

Thanks... I'm just not sure :/ I'm meant to be on my period today but nothing. And had nothing since spotting. I'm just hoping :)

You can't really predict when your period 'should' be if you've just come off the pill. It can take months to settle down. Fx for you though.

It's so tricky when you just come off the pill to know what your cycles are doing. You will probably find them all over the place for a few months. I would wait a while to take a test. I thought i was pregnant due to some symptoms but it was just coming off the pill and my body sorting itself out. Good luck though! If your not pregnant I am sure it won't be long.

Truehope123 · 28/09/2014 13:11

Hopefully won't be long. I'm 24 and married and just ready for the next step. It's exciting but I'm reading so many mixed reviews. I was having regular cycles before the pill so that's a good sign. I'm Hopi g the cramping a couple of weeks ago (when I thought I was coming on my period but didn't!) was my body ovulating... But you never know!

I stopped taking cerezzete 3 weeks ago to ttc number 2, I havnt had a period yet it with my first pregnancy I had thrush all the time! And that's the only time I have ever had it! Now all of a sudden I have a bout of thrush is this a side affect of coming off the pill or an early pregnancy sign?! XxConfused

Bethany I'm not sure :s I'm ttc for our first :/ you're so lucky to have one already :D FX this means it could be a side effect of pregnancy again for you! I'm so hoping it won't take too long for me. I have downloaded Ovia app to help me understand when I ovulate! Eeeeeee exciting times!
