Hah hah Frazzled! I also reported the weirdo Love that you're now inspired to search for the flashing wand lol. Well, the my days app says that I am due to OV on Friday but I really think I missed it last month so I am convinced that I shall OV more like Wednesday. If we're twins then your DH will be back in time I need to collect my CBfm sticks from the post office this morning!

Don't worry pear I will be jumping on him the minute he walks in the door. Going to be a bit awkward as we have an elderly relative staying but hey ho needs must!

I haven't done any of my new CBFM sticks yet. Waiting until Monday as no other sign of impending ovulation yet (CM) and don't want to waste them!

And the wand can't hurt, right?!

No symptoms on the 2ww for me though had period pains a week ago but nothing else. Had no symptoms when I was actually pregnant but now I am looking for them you'd think I would notice something... Obviously I did another test last night and one this morning all BFN.

That's it. No more tests! Until Wednesday. Someone stop me!

Hi frazzled ye lurker of yore! I'm glad you also found them frustrating!
I did another test at lunchtime and it was much fainter than yesterday evening, so I am indeed hoping it was a surge and will be followed (will!) by ovulation! Have DTD today again will again tomorrow and them I guess I'll be on a tww! I will check again tonight to see if it was a fluke or not but xfxfxf!

hide pear frazzled I have also decided that of this wasn't ovulation I will skip tests next month presuming AF comes this month, because it is a bit all-consuming!

Oh and I caved and bf DC mid morning.

Oooooo just done another IC OPK test and the second line has got a bit darker! Not as dark as the test line but something is happening eeek! I am deffo heading into OV land and it's only CD13 so it's all happening a lot quicker then last month which makes me v v happy!! DH and I have agreed to an early night

Hide - don't give up on the sticks. I did that one month and really regretted it as then you're left not knowing anything but hey you're first on the list to get a bfp so you won't need them next month anyway

Ooops sorry I mean Austra don't give up on the OPK tests.

I'll think about it pear as what you say makes sense. It's great news that your lines are getting darker too,not just for you obviously, but for me too as up to know I wasn't sure I that is the way the opk business worked! But I have just done another test (impatient much? never! ) and it is even fainter than this afternoon! So I am absolutely willing to be believe it very slowly built up to the LH surge, which was yesterday arvo at some point! Whether I will actually ovulate I don't know, but the LH will try to make me ovulate I guess! I am just pleased because it looks like the dramatic cull from three or four weeks ago did the trick!
We will be pretty close on the tww wait watch I guess too if you're nearly there!

Does anyone else have total paranoia that everything is going to fall out after DtD? I really feel like gravity is against me at times

Not feeling sick this morning (phew)!! Hopefully good amount of sleep has warned any sickness off! I've just done a CbFM test and weirdly it doesn't say I'm fertile. That is a bit confusing You would think that if there is a second line of the OPK sticks showing then I would be showing high fertile on the cbfm monitor. Hmmmm. Oh well, I've started the EOD mission last night so I will just continue all week. Happy February everyone! The gloom of January is now behind us

Glad you are feeling a bit better pear Just keep shagging... I jump on DH at the slightest hint that I might be getting fertile we are too old to manage every day now though And yes I'm toally paranoid about everything falling out after dtd! Have even considered a mooncup to keep the wee fellas in!

Still no AF here but more fertile looking CM (wouldn't quite call it EWCM but you never know) and DD has been really fussy about feeding. Could be teething though and she has been ill for a couple of days so not really sure if it's that or not liking my hormonal milk! Nips are a wee bit sore, but she's chomping on them like a wee bird so that's probably why!

How was everyone's Sunday? DH has just asked if we are only allowed sex when I'm ovulating!! He is a fast learner. Hehe.

No hide but I've heard from other ladies that it clears up blocked noses and eyes. Only reason I don't is because I haven't pumped for along long time! Hah hah your DH! Men are so funny. My DH is disappointed that we're not going again tonight. He does not seem to understand the EOD approach at all

Is anyone else going with the EOD approach or you just doing ED? I don't think we have the stamina for Ed despite what DH thinks

So, just done another OPK test. The line is a tiny bit lighter but not that much lighter. It's basically the same as yesterday.

I've just done a stock check. I have 7 IC OPKs, 4 IC pregnancy tests and 2 first response tests. I will only allow myself to you 2 IC preg tests and 1 first response this month. I'm actually going to be very restrained on the 2ww and hold out until AF arrives who am I kidding I'll try really hard

DS eye is a bit watery and crusty but doesn't look red. I don't pump either so was thinking of trying to express directly into his eye but this may be a bit tricky. He doesn't like to stay still!

Pear it is good to not have too many cheap tests in the house so you are not tempted to test twice a day!

I am at work Monday and Tuesday so that should distract me from testing and AF officially due on Wednesday.

Then it's back to OPK line confusion!

hide when DC was smaller and less active I did it directly from nipple to eye, but otherwise just soak a piece of cotton wool and do it over the close eyelid. Otherwise a sterilized teaspoon or dropper will do fine if you want to put it directly in the eye. :)
pear I feel quite pleased with today's opk results. The line has gone faint enough to almost be invisible, and it confirm for me that there was an LH build-up making the line go slowly darker (something I was worries was somehow wishful thinking from me) until it went almost fully dark on Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning it was already so much lighter and this evening hardly there! So although I was very confused about it (always assumed it would be nothing, then dark, then nothing) the build up makes sense too. Have a look at the Wikipedia LH page. There is a nice simple graph that shows that there is an increase in LH for at least three or so days before the spike, so it seems a reasonably good predictor after all! I only looked at that page today and was pleased to see it as it also made me feel more confident about what happened.
Testing twice a day btw made me feel a bit more "in control" iyswim, after I realized that the spike could be up and gone within twelve hours! Presumably if I was going to ovulate for the first time after DC it would have happened by now and I am either waiting for AF around the 13th or a bfp around the same time.

Can I join? Still bf dd1 (nearly 16 months) but since we dropped to just bedtime feed last month I've got my first proper af...so this month we ttc. Ordered some cheapy opk sticks as not sure if I'm ovulating or not. Fingers crossed this is a lucky month for everyone!

Hallo elegant welcome! Nice to hear of someone who got their AF back first month after dropping feeds. Good luck with the ttc bit! I just went through the whole opk thing myself and hope it worked. Dc1 was conceived pretty much not really planned and this purposefully ttc thing has been difficult to get our heads around! Have had more sex in the last two weeks than I'm pretty sure since DC was conceived!

Well that is weird! My IC OPK is even fainter today. I have to squint to look for a second line. However, my CBFM sticks continue to tell me that I haven't even reached high fertility yet. Very odd! Have i ovulated already and my cbfm has missed it or are these IC OV sticks just messing with my head!!!
