TTC messing up cycle

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this.

I stopped taking the pill in January and since then have had 28-30 day cycles (like before taking the pill). Started TTC in August. First month cycle was 34 days (never been so long). So had imaginary symptoms and plenty of negative tests. This month I'm up to day 31, HPT is negative and it looks like things are the same again. Is this stress? And should I just expect a 5 week cycle from now on?

It could be stress jess. Apparently stress can delay ovulation - however the time between and ovulation and your AF should be fairly constant, so that may be what has occurred. OR, you could be pregnant this month but it is too early to test for you.
Good luck

TBH I've no idea what it's about, but exactly this happened to me for 2 months before I conceived, which is also when we (errm) started making "a little bit more effort". I wouldn't have said I was particularly stressed those months either, but who knows ?! Good luck X X
