Sorry this must have been asked before.... I am a little confused. So when you get a positive with OPK test does that mean you are about to ovulate (as in egg is going to be release in the next 36 hours) or it has been released and you have a 24-36 hours to fertilise egg.

If the former, that means that you should be DTD at least for next 3days ? Ie. egg might be released in 36 hours time then add on 24 hours (life of egg)

If that's the case then I think that's where I went wrong last month! We DTD 3 days in a trot up to day of positive OPK but then didn't for the next few days. Thinking we might have missed a window of opportunity there of increasing the chances . I didn't think the days after positive OPK would help Confused
