CLOMID (new thread) - will it work?

I started clomid last month and had the most unusual month of my life. I started taking clomid on day 3 of my cycle and from that moment onwards I had stomach cramps on and off the whole month. I thought 'good it's working', and it did I got a scan on day 14 and my follicle was 20mm. I got my HCG injection and sent merely on my way. I was convinced I was pregnant what with continual cramping and then when I started to get really sensitive nipples I was certain. I read alot on the internet about how people who where pregnant had still experienced cramping as normal on the run up to their periods. But low and behold, day 27 arrived and as normal so did my period. I was disappointed but not disheartened,.... maybe next month. I started my 2nd round of clomid today and the cramps have started again, so I guess it is still working. Please share your experiences with me..... as you sit and wonder is this how it feels for everyone else. My partner is great but he doesn't understand the sensations that go through your body the whole month.... tell me what it's like for the rest of you please. -x-

Hopeful,

Im on my 3rd month of clomid. But on 2nd month I got a bfp. Unfortunately I miscarried, so am now on 3rd month....but I do believe they work so stay positive.

I usually take them on days 1-5, but this month what with the miscarriage and that I didnt know where I was, I started on cd3. (which I thought was CD2 until I spoke with my nice consultant) I didnt have any side effects the 1st 2 months but this month I have had hot flushes. And when I say hot I mean really really red hot. My DH couldnt believe how hot to touch I was. These went on for 4 days.

I suppose the only other thing I notices was that I had a huge appetite.

Nattys right, the Clomid thread - NEWer thread is a great place to share stories and gleen info on the magic pills

best of luck on the clomid
