Positive ovulation test

I've just done a clear blue ovulation predictor test and got a . 3 days before my period is due, is this a sign of pregnancy? I'm not sure why I did it not now I don't know if I'm getting my hopes up for no reason??

Congrats! I was just about to say ovulation sticks can detect HCG

I've taken an ovulation test too in replacement of a HPT because I only had ovulation tests in, and got a positive... So wondering if it's the same for me!!

I just randomly did a ov test and it was positive?! Due AF on sat

Alien I read up on it. LH and HCG both have a very similar chemical structure. So an ovulation test can detect both a pregnancy test only tests for HCG.
Are you getting any symptoms?

Not really but I didn't with my daughter either! I posted a pic elsewhere & someone said it wasn't a positive so think I've read it wrong?
I've had some cramps and back ache but that's it really. Thought my boobs were feeling tingly but only a few times.
I think it will continue to be an bfn until af. I'll pick up a proper test with weekly shop on weds.so I'll be 12dpo then
