Pushing for Number 2

Just a quick question as I was in a debate with dh last night - if you push for a number 2 and are pregnant or there is a chance you could be, could you damage the baby?!

What about lifting heavy goods or laying on your tummy in bed?

I think if the pregnancy is stable then it shouldn't hurt the baby. You may end up with piles though (like me) .

Not sure on heavy lifting.
I was pg when we moved house but I was 14 weeks. I did lift stuff but not a heavy table or anything.

I lay on my tummy for as long as it was comfortable as that's my best sleeping position. 3 healthy babies so no ill effects.

Are you or do you think you may be pg then?
Good luck.

Thanks for your quick response.

I am hoping for a BFP this month. On my third month ttc for first dc. I ovulated last Weds so don't know yet. I was just have a mess around with dh and it occured that straining could harm!

I am so hoping it could be this month but I just don't feel any different and have no symptons.

What do you mean by stable pregancy? How do you know at the early stages?

I don't think you do know. But I think if somethings going to hapen then nothing can stop it. Our bodies are pretty tough things really. The only thing that could do more harm to an otherwise 'stable' pg is drugs and alcohol. By drugs I mean aspirin and the like.
You need to be careful what you take in the way of medication.
I suffer with migraines and took paracetamol through my 3 pgs, only when desperate. Mine are all fine but there are studies showing that even paracetamol has an effect.

Sorry I'm waffling now.

Fingers crossed for you.
