Hi, I'm hoping someone here could help a little, my GP doesn't seem to know much and tells me to go to my Gynaecologist who costs a lot of money each time.
Anyway, I am on day 28 of my first round of Clomiphene, no period yet, but negative pregnancy test. However, my cycles are usually 40 days - so will I not get a positive until day 40 (if I ovulated & conceived) or with Clomid should it regulate it to 28 days? Thanks

Clomid's main job is to make the ovaries work harder; it will not necessarily shorten your cycles.

You should be monitored whilst on clomid, no monitoring means that you have no idea whether its working or not.

Do you actually have a diagnosis of the underlying problem?.
