DTD everyday or every other day?

We was told by our dr to dtd every other day to let sperm build up and be better quality and it lasts up to 72hrs. I read this article which says every other day until best ovulation days and every day for these 5/6 days.

Thoughts please

We did it every 1.5 days if that counts during 'green' week. It seemed to do the trick. Watching though as about to start no. 2. Eek.

The vast majority of places I have read have said to do it every OTHER day, which gives the sperm a chance to recover and increases the quality of sperm.

I think it's also better from a mental health perspective - if you aren't already having daily sex, then it's a huge step, puts alot of pressure on your partner to "perform" and, well to be quite frank, it just sounds totally impractical.

What do you do if your partner needs to go away for a night on business? Or if you want to visit your family for the weekend? Or if one of you is ill for a few days?

With our first two children we dd every day for about 10 days from 8dpo onwards. Worked first month both times.

This year I've had an ectopic and a mc and we dtd every other day x

We did every other day when trying for DS and I conceived the second month. With DD, we tried to be more targeted but actually missed the window most months due to various things. I conceived the first month we DTD every other day.
