Hi guys,

A few of you may have come across me in other threads but I wanted some answers from you ladies about something.

I came off the pill only 3 weeks ago and had a withdrawal bleed and have been trying to conceive since with an outlook that if it happens it happens but it's probably going to take a while! However we have been DTD every day since and my ovia app says that i ovulated yesterday although i think it was before that.

Today i have had on and off period like cramps in my stomach and my lower back and my boobs kill!! I know this could be ovulation symptoms but could the cramping be implantation? I promised myself i wouldn't get this caught up with it all but its hard not to! Haha, anyone had anything similar? X

I too recently have been using the ovia app for the last 3 months and I have been doing ovulation test around the time I get the so called egg white consistency mucus. I ovulated 3 days before the app predicted.

I think it's best two use both because then the app automatically updates next months cycle and looks for the patterns.

I say this like it has worked for me, but I have only been using app recently alongside the test that I'm trying to be more regimented about.

2 years and 10 months ttc sends u loopy.

I suspect u have come on as u only had a withdrawal bleed. It can take a cycle or two for ur cycle to normalise. But if u continue to bleed at lead in means only a few days before u actually ovulate.

Over all the time I have tested only 4 maybe 5 cycles in total at random and sometime I ovulated on the 11 day and once on the 14th day and the test was always either the 17th or 18th day.

I think my mistake in the beginning was thinking that the best days were early on in my cycle and I was most likely ovulating much later than I thought. I do feel u can read my body signs now better than before.

When I came off the pill it took nearly 7 weeks for my first normal period to arrive. Also for the first few months I didn't ovulate. Think this was because it took a while for the pill to completely get out of my system.
I wouldnt follow apps as you don't know how long your cycles are going to be to start with. The apps base fertile days on an average 4 week cycle and your cycles might be longer to start with.

I'm only using that as a guide, I'm checking cervical position and mucus too. Thanks ladies I'll give it time xx
