November bus opening doors- all aboard for BFPs!!!

I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

AF finally arrived here. The last 3 cycles have been 32 days long!
So an update to my stats is BFP due 16th November.

My cycles are usually 34 days long and the waiting, oh the waiting, just to get to the tww. And then more waiting...

much empathy Coffee. I'm still ovulating on day 14/15 though. it's the phase after that that's got longer. Is that good for ttc? My 2ww is 18 days long.

I think a long LP is fine, good chance for any beans to stick! I ovulate on day 20/21 and have a 14 day LP. I find we have to pace ourselves dtd as we can run out of steam

I didnt think you could have an lp longer than 14 days am I wrong?

Hi Blueberry. Well mine definitely vis coz I've been charting my ovulation etc for 8 months. I always had 29 day cycles.... Ov day 14/15 and then 14/15 day LP. But Aug, Sept and now Oct too I've still ov'd on day 15 and then no af for another 16-18 days. what else could it be? def not been pg those months as I've tested.

I googled it apprently its very rare but some women can have upto an 18 days luteal phase caused by a high level of progesterone

apparently it shouldn't affect ttc..... But I just hope my body goes back to 29 day cycle soon.

Definitely coffee!! I totally know what you mean about running out of steam, we defo have to pace ourselves! Great to have fellow long cycle gals around for support :-)!

Soap my cycles are 33-37 days. I ov day 20-24 so long time to wait here!

I also ovulate late, cd 19/20. Af has just buggered off but still ages to wait till ovulation

Ahhh pikz long cycles suck but I'm so glad I'm among fellow long cyclers!! Let's all be boring waiters together

Late ovulator here too! Usually around CD20-21. Seems like bloody ages to wait for! Usually start "serious" dtd around day 16/17 (opk depending) so we don't peak too soon, as it were! LP always 14 days though.

Not really, completely heart broken. But it obviously wasn't meant to be. It was all over so fast. Having only known 5 days or so. I'm bleeding heavy now so know it's over. Shouldn't have got excited so soon.

Hopefully I'll have a decent cycle after and a late Nov bfp perhaps.

Oh Seafoam. Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me in May and June this year.
