November bus opening doors- all aboard for BFPs!!!

I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

My username is from the TV show that everyone keeps telling me I should watch. And the fact that bananas should all be replaced by oranges as bananas are EVIL and I hate them!! Wanted something random, so there we are Halloween Hmm

I got babybombed too today. One of my NCT girlies. They've been trying on and off for just over a year so am chuffed for them. I've just hit that time where DD is nearly 2, and everyone is asking when/if we're having another, and a lot of the girls who I met in baby groups etc with DD are expecting again Halloween Envy. So far, I've managed to be quite blasé about it, hope that can continue if we're trying for a while!

Off to have a lovely pie and mash for tea, yum! Happy Halloween!

Yesssss orange!! You are so right!! Bananas are totally yuk. Ack, the smell, the texture... Just wrong. My dd adores them and eats hers watching in the night garden just before bath time, it's the only time I'd ever come close to them. Even got her to peel them now as I just can't touch them. Yak.

I love the fact that DD loves bananas, as they're so convenient to give in a toddler food emergency. But I sit there breathing through my mouth the whole time, especially when she squishes it everywhere! Ick! Can now actually peel and touch them which I never would have done before....

Missmrs, yes I temp at 6am orally. Only my second month temping so still getting to grips with it and I often have a disturbed nights sleep.....I like seeing the pretty graph pattern thoughGrin

Spinning we had to go and buy 3 emergency pumpkins from the farm. As our enormous one caved in! And all supermarkets were bare. £20!!! But they were very superior posh lardedar pumpkins if I do say so myself! We even got s white one that is now famous across fb as trick or treaters were doing selfies with the White pumpkin and my witches cats! Grin

okay spinning heres the pumpkin its not as good as I planned it kept breaking!!

I just looked in the mirror and look 4 months pregnant grrr so bloated! Still cramping but im so worried about testing!

Heard some sad news on facebook from a dear friend of mine who has lost her baby. Looked like the baby was between 20-24 weeks from the picture. Think she was due in March. She wrote a beautiful touching piece about him tho about the few minutes they had with him. Makes u realise its not just the ttc part that is tough.

Loving all the username chat!! How are your Halloween celebrations going? We are away with my mum and dd and already in bed...and I don't even feel bad about it. In bed, in a move hotel, watching Greys Anatomy on my iPad with a snorer on each side, haha!
MrsE, post a pic of your pumpkins!! (And that's NOT a rude question.)

So, temping and opk specialists: I invested in a cbfm (which will promptly be resold on eBay as soon as baby#2 is safely in my arms!) and I was 2nd day of peak this morning but my ic detected a surge from wedn afternoon. Last dtd was last night and now I'm away from dh til Monday evening... Do you think we've missed it? I'm getting ov type pains but haven't had a temp rise yet - although I'm not terribly good at taking it at the same time every day. I hope those spermies really DO survive as long as they say! Can you imagine how funny it would be if we actually conceived this cycle but they put the conception date as tomorrow or Sunday, when I'm actually away from dh? Pahaha!

Right, so broody , dtd on my behalf whatever happens, will you? Wink

Just been reading all your posts from the start - wow!! Hoping I can join in!
First cycle tracking - currently CD17. Had high fertility on CB dual CD12-13 and peak fertility on CB dual CD14-15. I have had EWCM and terrible cramping but I haven't had a temp rise. Does that mean I havn't ovulated yet? Should I be concerned?!
Oh, and just to join in on the username discussion - mine is after our cat Tessie who we rescued as a stray one morning sitting in our bbq in Sarajevo!! Grin

Welcome tessiegirl!! I think it means you haven't ovulated yet because I'm in the same position but after much googling, some women don't get a temp rise for up to 5 days after, its not common but its possible so fx for both of us Smile x
