I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Fx blueberry am keen to do another celebration boogie. its my only exercise :) as work is mental.
want hope DTD was fun last night! Fx eggy is looking flirty for some swimmers!

Looks like POAS party for 14th nov is now in doubt, I had had another flashing smiley with FMU.. ugh. and the ic opks have not even registered any lines at all though it is probably in vain doing excessive DTD this week, After a few years of hardly any DTD as i broke my back in a road accident, we are enjoying having some structure as life is so busy you can just get too tired to stop and snuggle!

They do say the more you do it the more you can or want to do it :) ... Does anyone else feel like this ? I feel so much closer to him, even though he is clearly suffering from TMI about my cycles something he himself said he literally was a) in denial b) grossed out by before is now relevant to him!

TheProofIsInThePudding · 30/10/2014 12:19

Hi toots I understand exactly what you mean. I think DH and I are in a really good place at the moment (apart from the hiccough on Tuesday!) and it's partly to do with HAVING to DTD so often when before we'd not bother if one of us was a bit tired or whatever. Both of us have suffered/suffer from depression and that's a real libido killer and starts a vicious downward spiral. I'm glad things are going well for you too toots Smile

tootssw17 · 30/10/2014 12:31

Can i ask, where do you all feel ov cramps/twinges ... i know on a pic where my ovaries are but if i am one of those who feel the mittelthingy where is this sensation? about the hip? above my bikini line?

yes i am clueless but i didn't even do GSCE Biology - am more a numbers girl.. working in the city being all accoutantingy.

StowFrenchy · 30/10/2014 12:48

Hey toots for me it is about the same level as the hipbone - hope this helps!

On another note - I am supposed to POAS on Nov 14th - anyone else is planned on the same day? Just trying to find some 2ww sisters!! X

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 12:59

Hi toots! I am having the mittel-whatsit today. I have it literally centrally, where my pubic hair is... Hmm right behind the public bone? But I have had 'ovary pain' before, kind of low down on the left, like where your knicker line would be :S

I agree about dtd! Might be cos I am also off the pill... But before, would just do it couple times a month and if tired not really bother. Now we have to, I thought it would be hard to get in the mood, but like you say, the more you do it the more you want to! It's brill, DH lasts so much longer too Grin. He is loving it atm, I think it is even too much for him Wink He half doesnt want me to get pg so we can carry on dtd so much!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 12:59

*pubic bone! Not public bone!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 13:00

stow i was in the 14 nov club, but now ov earlier than I thought so not sure if poas 12 or 14. But af due 14 so will try to hold out I think!

GeneralBrownie · 30/10/2014 13:00

Hi ladies -
hoping i can hop on this thread - have felt a huge rush of relief reading through some of the previous posts... either I'm not crazy, or you're all crazy too and either way that has really made me smile!
ttc#1 cycle 6 - currently on day 22, 7dpo (hoping for bfp 5th november) and driving myself mad symptom spotting. Have a wierd tense "knot" sensation where i imagine my uterus is, painful boobs, and feel totally exhausted.... trying desperately not to read too much into it or think about it too much. Easier said than done

Just poas (opk) and its negative which is fab as I'm worrying the soy will make me ov too early. Only cd7 and dp working nights for 2 nights now with his 'proper' job. Hoping I don't get my positive until cd10 at the earlier Grin

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 30/10/2014 14:46

Good luck spinning!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 30/10/2014 14:59

Genni - I'd definitely give acupuncture a go. I don't if it's that or the soy or a mixture of both this cycle has been sooo much better in way of pre-ov temps, post-ov temps and decent ov day.

Blueberry I'll everything crossed for a BFP on Sunday for you! Smile

Aaa ok maybe I will give it a go. I was just wondering if it was just another thing to throw money at but can't argue with you English or you Sunbathing Grin

spinning fx ov waits for you. I'm hoping mine comes earlier this month.

spinningirl10 · 30/10/2014 15:47

Blueberry, I've got everything crossed for you Grin

Genni, Accupuncture must be worth a try. I can't remember if you're trying soy or not?
My first Accupuncture session is Nov 18th so about the time that af is due. We're on hols from the 20th for a week so I shall be nice and relaxed before I goGrin

Hi all

I've been hibernating for a few days - really needed it, was feeling bloody crap tbh.
I'm curious to know if there's any bfps (fx)
So hope everyone is well and good, I'm off to read back x

gennibugs · 30/10/2014 16:28

sunbathing that is really useful thank you. I will give it a go for sure. Those herbs sound intriguing - did you drink them like a tea? This is my second cycle temping so I guess I could take last months chart and this ones too. I'll give her a call and see when she can fit me in. I never thought to take my charts so thank you for that! Or that temps could be too low. It makes sense though as I had read to keep warm during the 2ww somewhere.

spinning I didn't take soy this cycle as after reading up I wasn't sure it would help me. After English's wonderful news I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet and try it next cycle if no BFP this month. What's days did you take it this month? Ooh and where are you off on holidays? Did you mention Tenerife a while back or am I imagining it?

Hi all :)
I've spent all day cleaning my house and finishing off some work. Having a girls night at mine - forever living party.
feeling positive :)
Cd9 today and dtd yesterday so off we go again :)

TheProofIsInThePudding · 30/10/2014 16:40

You've been very productive, Treacle! Have a great evening.

Newbie OPK question: On Tuesday I got a not-quite-positive, yesterday I got a positive, today I got a negative (no line at all) is that normal - is that what's supposed to happen?! Do you keep testing after you've had a positive or do you stop? Thanks!
