November bus opening doors- all aboard for BFPs!!!

I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Pregvember is off to a good start in the wanttobe household. CD 9 - already having nearly positive OPKs and dtd twice already! Here's to a dtd-athon and many bfps ahead of us!

Feeling a bit blue now. Because I doubled up on testing x2 opks a day I think I caught my positive earlier so I've now had three days of positive but only dtd once. Not feeling hopeful now. Why does life get in the way? There was no way I was gonna fit in dtd yesterday but that was probably the best chance I had. This sucks. Such a small slimmer of chance all month and its so frigging easy to miss it :(

Omg Blueberry, only read back as far as your comment but that's disgusting that someone threatened you!!!!! I hope you've reported him! I would have cried, clomid or not! What a horrid man.

I was having a lovely day, went to the gym, had a phone call for a second interview for a job I applied for and went to lunch with my friend unfortunately I've now fallen out with dp and I won't see him until tomorrow evening so I'm feeling sad and pretty pissed off with him!!!! I even have a glass of wine and it's only 5.15!!!

Dozy - I really wouldn't give up hope. As long as you've managed to dtd once in your fertile window, you're in with a shot. Ironically, the two cycles I've managed a BFP, we dtd far less than usual (and only on one day before my first BFP in June) so much so that I'd pretty much given hope in both cycles before the 2ww commenced.

Maybe wanttobe, I think it's all about the job, I don't think he wants me to do it :( I've tried to talk to him about it but he's made an argument out of something totally different, men heh!!!

Hmmm thats a tricky one. If you go to the interview though it doesnt guarantee you will be offered it, or that you will take it if you. If you are looking for a new job it could still be treated as interview experience? :)

Spinning - I'm with Wanttobe on this front - this definitely calls for some make-up dtd. Also, I seem to recall that something similar happened to MrsE just before her BFP so it might be a good sign!

Oh no spinning, it's horrible falling out. Good ascice from want there tho. See how he feels of u suggest that to him.

Quick question please ladies. If you use IC opk's, do you tend to see a gradually darkening line for a few days before a positive, or does it go straight to a fully dark positive line? Have a definitely darker line tonight, but not yet a positive. Hopefully something is happening!

Mine vary in darkness leading up to it, not generally a pattern in them when they are negative, they go stronger to less stronger. On the day of my first positive though I did one around 12 that was almost positive then later at four it was positive and the following two days they were positive. I reckon tomorrow's will be negative now. Hope that helps.

Lol mine are the same as sunbathing clearly. Sunbathing how often did u dtd over the positive days this month that u got your bfp?

Thanks ladies! The line definitely isn't as dark as the control, and am still getting negatives on the CB dual, so will just wait and see I guess!

Evening ladies! I'm quietly mumsnet ing while our 18 month old nephew is snoring in the travel cot next to our bed. He is saying tonight and his big sister has been here since thursday. They are adorable and are really highlighting how much we'd love our own family.

spinning, make-up sex is often worth the argument IMO

orange, I think my opk's do get gradually darker in the few days leading up to ovulation.

We've not managed to dtd yet this cycle due to our little house guests. I've started the soy, so feel like I'm doing something. My fertile window isn't due for a good week yet.

Dozy I am also emotional generally and will cry at anything at the best of times. If its sad, I cry. If it's happy, I cry.

Toothache my best friend has also just told me she is pregnant. They started trying the same time we did (although she doesn't know that) and like you, I am very happy for her but also a little envious.

orange I use IC OPKs and over last 3 days been gradually getting darker, but not quite as strong as the control yet. Was same lat month but then went to stark white negative day after I ov'd

Thanks sunbathing I seem to have similar opks as u, just need to dtd as much as u lol. Just feeling frustrated about yesterday's lack of dtd if today is the day I'm ovulating but will try one last time tonight even if it means staying up late.

Thanks ladies im ok i came home and snuggled on the sofa for a few hours and then got dolled up for a party. had a few drinks was good to relax.

still getting weird 'symptoms' but i think its the clomid rather than pg symptoms at 5dpo.
