I know its waaay early for a November bus to set off but AF arrived today kicking me off the September bus and with DH away next month the October bus is not an option. Anyone fancy joining me in the long wait? I don't expect much action on this thread for a few weeks but it would be nice to have some company. My stats are below:

iamevan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 6, BFP due 7th November

Hey knitted welcome to the bus. I have yet to really experience ov pain. Sometimes I thinkmi have it but I could just be imagining it. Opks work for me as dp isn't overly bothered about dtd so I like to make sure that we're at least doing it at the right time. Only just started using them tho so we'll see if it helps me get a BFP. I wasn't able to DTD last month on the day of the first positive so now I'm feeling desperate that that's why it didn't work so now I'm pressured to do it tonight. I don't tell DP either that it's posiribr otherwise he'll feel too pressured.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 23/10/2014 23:20

Congrats Luss! Fx for your sticky bean.

Started my OPK's yesterday and still negative as expected. My two cheap/freebie phone apps have me ovulating either next Wednesday or Friday, so will be interested to see if that fits with what the sticks do.... At least every cycle I'm getting more in tune with what's going on I suppose!

Hi knitted! I only seem to get ov pain on the left side. Never on the right!

tootssw17 · 23/10/2014 23:42

I just have started my first opk- think am due for of next week- my apps disagree with when! Am turning into an obsessive cm watcher though 31 years ( ok since puberty) never even noticed the cycle of cm when I did mini pill breaks!
Watery? Hmmm maybe school glue like? Is that PVA or pritt-stick .... Glue gun perhaps??? Ovid needs to be clearer on glue like!!! Any suggestions ?

How are the nov 14 th cycle buddies getting on?

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 24/10/2014 06:19

toots watery is when it is clear and wet, school glue is when it is thick white/yellow in colour not clear creamy and sticky. And egg white self explanatory Grin

MrsGingerbread · 24/10/2014 06:26

I had ewcm on 2dpo this time. Any ideas why that might be? Maybe from the epo? (Don't worry, stopped taking that at ov!)

4dpo today and a horrendous night's sleep last night. Probably because I feel asleep so early, but as I had this with my bfp too then it is more fun to say... symptom! ;)

knittedmittens · 24/10/2014 06:48

Thanks Blue, Orange and Dozy. O cramps were so bad last night that I had to lie down, so no chance of DTD. However, they've gone this morning so we've managed it (TMI) after an early alarm call! I have a few OPKs so might POAS later this afternoon just to see what happens. Dozy hope the pressure wasn't too much, last month I actually burst into tears when DH said he was too tired Blush

Toots I find the whole cm a bit of a minefield too!

Def a symptom MrsG Smile

lucieloos · 24/10/2014 07:06

Just popping into say hi, not many of us left on the pregtober bus now. It's been a really bad month for bfps so hopefully that means a bumper pregvember! Grin

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 07:10

Morning Grin

MrsG fx the bad nights sleep and the ewcm is a symptom Grin

Knitted, well done on the early dtd!

Af has arrived full flow this morning.

xBlueberry88x · 24/10/2014 07:11

i know the feeling knitted mine were extreme this month and lasted a whole day still dtd though lol

mrsginger I took epo this month and had ewcm for 3/4 days over ovulation usually only have one day before ovulation (it could also have been the clomid im not sure)

orange I use ovia and every month my fertile week moves when I put my positive opk in its annoying

xBlueberry88x · 24/10/2014 07:13

x post morning lucie

sorry AF arrived fully spinning at least you know where you stand though

I've has some light cramping on and off since yesterday hmm

Boosk · 24/10/2014 07:21

Morning ladies, got room for a little one at the back? Af looks like she's on the way although not full flow yet, bitch!

At least I can get my bbt on order and start using ff for a better idea of my cycle. Smile

Dozygirl · 24/10/2014 07:22

kniited been there done that. This month I took it one further and cried during sex because my mind went into overdrive thinking of the mammoth task ahead of us of lots of dtd and my DP takes a long time so I got overwhelmed and cried. Ttc sends u seriously cray-cray!!

Mumwannabe82 · 24/10/2014 07:29

Morning ladies xx sorry AF came along spinning. I know when AF came for me, I at least knew what was going on and focus on another cycle, every cloud has a silver lining Wink

broodylicious · 24/10/2014 08:09

Congrats luss!! So pleased we have a bfp Smile Let's hope Pregvember is now a bit more successful than Pregtober!!

Welcome knittedmittens Smile your name is familiar to me so we must have crossed somewhere on the boards before now. Fx for a bfp soon Thanks

knittedmittens · 24/10/2014 08:35

Thanks Broody. It was on the TTC after mc board unfortunately Sad Found it an extremely supportive place to be in those rubbish early days. Thought I would hop on a bus now that we are back on it Smile Fx for you too Grin

Thepurplegiraffe · 24/10/2014 08:54

Sorry AF arrived Spinning I thought maybe you had a chance there, do you know what you will do about Soy yet.

I had an awful night as well MrsG but mine was due to dd so no chance of being a symptom. 5dpo here I think, no idea if I actually ovulated or not but no chance of temping here when I never ever get a full nights sleep. Guessing there is no other way to be sure? This 2ww is seeming very long!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/10/2014 08:57

Can I take a spare seat up the back? Just thought I'd wave my godmotherly wand over you all for a while! Let's magic some of those pumpkins into sticky beans instead Grin

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 09:12

Ah Dozy, it's hard not to let the frustration of ttc get to us sometimes. Hopefully as it's the weekend you'll get lots of time to dtdWink

Purple, fx you did ov. I think I will take soy, maybe cd4-9. I think there's quite a few of us taking it this month.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/10/2014 11:23

So after seeing lots of you lovely ladies talking about temping, I thought I would give it go but can't get a basal thermometer anywhere unless I order online so I bought a normal digital one, will it work do you think? It has a decimal place too!!!

lucieloos · 24/10/2014 11:57

I think it needs to have 2 decimal places mumwannabe or it won't be accurate enough as the temp changes can be quite small so you won't see them with only one decimal place.

lucieloos · 24/10/2014 11:57

I ordered mine from babymad on amazon it didn't take long to come.

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 12:11

Mum, lucies right, it needs to have 2 decimal places. I ordered from Amazon and it came quite quicklyGrin

Mumwannabe82 · 24/10/2014 12:15

Thank you xx think I might need to do that then! It wasn't a waste of money as you never know when a digital thermometer might come in handy lol xx Grin

Mumwannabe82 · 24/10/2014 12:23

Ordered off Amazon! Don't really know why I didnt do that in the first place, probably the impatient side of me lol xx

Aprilray · 24/10/2014 12:38

Congratulations Luss!

It's disappointing to hear that Pregtober has been a bad month for BFPs, it got off to such a good start with 4 in the first 2 days! FX very tightly for Pregvember.

Anyone else using softcups?- tried one for the first time last night. How long are you supposed to leave it in for? I took it out this morning (with a little bit of difficulty!) but was debating leaving it in all day.

Happy Friday everyone btw!
