Difficult to identify ovulation

I have been ttc no 2 for several months now, with no joy. 3 months ago I bought the clearblue dual hormone tester but am having mixed results with it. For example this month I tested and after a couple of days got the high fertility flash for one day and then went straight to peak. But my body was showing no other signs of ovulation. I try to chart my CM and basal body temp too, but even that isn't that clear to me anymore.

So, not convinced I had actually ovulated I waited the 2 days after getting the peak fertility signal, tested again and it showed high for one day and is now back to showing peak! WTF?

Am I am sorry this is TMI but I can find it hard to work out what is CM sometimes or the 'wash back' from DTD the night before? I just feel a it lost at the moment. Like I cannot trust the machine and cannot eve read my own body properly.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Hi,

Are you stressed? Maybe ill giving wrong bbt? I didn't want to read and run. My bbt is pretty erratic, done months looks crazy. CM is no help to me at all. I have the Advanced Fertility Monitor and it worked first time for me on cycle 4 TTC number 1. I use the fertility friend app to keep track everything too so it's all in one place if that helps?

Hopefully someone more knowledgable will be along soon. Sorry I can't help more.

Thanks. Perhaps I need to get more organised. Just strange the tester would effectively show me ovulating twice this cycle!
