Heart Palpitations

Me again. I've been TTC DC2 for about 18months now; various tests are being done, nothing is coming up. I am due to start AF at the weekend and am currently experiencing heart palpitations similar to the sort you might have if you drank a lot of strong coffee. I haven't touched caffeine for at least a week. They are mild but long lasting and I'm having very mild waves of nausea. I'm completely aware that I'll get the answer at the weekend but does anyone want to fan the flames of optimism and tell me that they have experienced similar in very very early pregnancy?

I am also aware that I am at the stage of clutching wildly at straws so telling me to stop being ridiculous is an entirely acceptable response.

This is so spooky, I've been considering starting my own thread about this. Only on first cycle but I'm now on cd48 with not even a hint of a positive test and from day 42 I have had the strangest palpitations, they last about 2 minutes and are really intense (my husband can feel it when he puts his hand on my heart).

I think I may have ovulated 12 days ago so this would be VERY early pregnancy symptom. Think I may also be clutching at straws as every bit of wind/bloating/twinge has had me convinced. On the other hand I have never experienced this heart thing before and unfortunately am well used to the other symptoms!

Fingers crossed!
