Does anyone have any insite on this??? I am only 4 weeks preg but already I am having pain and spotting. This is my third preg and the past two were mc. I have a very bad feeling about this already. I went to the docs today and basically its a waiting game. I am booked for a scan on the 26th of April but I dont know what to do until then. I feel so depressed because I think its inevidable that this one is going to end up the same as the others...all of the symptoms are the same. Pain in the left ovary (sharp) and slight brown spotting yesterday...and today there was a little red. I just dont know what to think or do...

Melliek,

We have the biggest shoulders on this site, and we are here to support you throughout this sad time. Talk to us.

Big Big hugs

eyelash · 16/04/2004 16:55

melliek

I am so sorry this is happening to you. Please let us know how you get on at the hospital. Life is so unfair.

hana · 16/04/2004 18:25

so so sorry Melliek. It's utterly unfair and especially so for you after 2 previous m/c. I hope you're getting lots of love and support from your friends and family. When you are ready I would ask for some investigations to be done, there is a lot that can be looked at.....when you're ready there are good (old) threads on recurrent miscarriage clinics here on the site.
(that's what they're called in the UK, not sure about Canada) and lots of informative positve and helpful books too on this subject too.
Lots of hugs, thinking of you at this really sad time,
hana

Dear melliek, I'm really sorry things are looking so bleak. I hope you at least get a definite answer soon, and also that you'll be able to find out if there's a reason for your m/cs. Thinking of you xx.

musica · 16/04/2004 22:02

melliek I'm so sorry this is happening to you. (((hug)))

Quackers · 17/04/2004 13:34

Melliek, so sorry {{{{{}}}}. Have a read of the Lesley Regan book if you haven;t already. It is surprisingly reassuring and gives lots of advice on possible reasons, if anything. Hope you get referred to a recurrent clinic near you and they can start off this for you now. xxxxxx

bluestar · 17/04/2004 17:33

melliek, really really sorry that you are going through this experience again. I'm sure there is not much to comfort you right now but there are many people here thinking of you.

kid · 19/04/2004 17:23

Malliek - I was wondereing how you are doing? hope you are feeling ok. xxx

melliek · 20/04/2004 17:07

OMG................... you will never believe this!! I just came back from the emerg department for my 6 week ultrasound and I cannot believe it!!!!! There is a heart beat and its good and strong! I am just stunned because I thought for sure that this one was lost. It's so funny because I have been feeling so sick 24/7 and tired but I thought that it was just the hormones that were left in my sytem. Thank you God! I am elated but scared at the same time. My first m/c was at 9 weeks so once I get there I will ask for another scan to make sure.
Thank you everyone soooo much for all of your kind words and suport. I really dont think I would get by if it wasn't for your help. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that I will make it through and my little peanut will keep a good strong heart beat!!!
