I'm so down about this, if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it

I'm on day 14 of cycle and I thought I was due to ovulate tomorrow, my last period was 24/08 lasted 5 days and my cycles are usually 28 days give or take a day, I have been using the clearblue fertility monitor along side clearblue dual hormone opk, this is my first cycle using the monitor so I wasn't expecting much as I've heard it needs a couple of cycles to work out what's 'norm', however since starting the testing on Tuesday I've had 'highs' on both devices for 5 days now? but surely if I was due to ovulate tomorrow I should of got my peak fertility today???
I'm so fed up, I'm getting to the point where I've just had enough now :(

I'm sorry you're feeling upset, it's hard not to get caught up in it. I haven't used the monitor but I used the clear blue dual hormone alongside the clear blue OPK last month and felt exactly the same as you. Mine gave conflicting results and then AF arrived a week late - because I didn't actually ovulate until a week after both had given me positive readings. My body hadn't given me any signs during the time they were positive but it did the week after, but I just thought that was my body playing up so I didn't give it too much thought.

I now know that the stressing out delayed ovulation - I had 6 days of high fertility and was very frustrated. My body was obviously gearing up because the readings were positive, but I think my stressing was delaying it actually happening. Once I thought it was over I relaxed, which is when my body decided it could ovulate.

I know that multiple high fertility readings are normal, but make sure that you're reading your body's signs too alongside the monitor and OPK. It's only cd 14 so it'll happen soon if you're usually 28 days, just try to relax and not beat yourself up.

Thank you BlinkAndMiss, i have also been having other ovulation symptoms, aching in my lower abdo, cm seems to coincide with what it should be, ad ur right stressing out is prob making it worse :-/
I'll chill out and see if that helps :)

Pickle I got 8 days of high fertility on the dual hormone opk and gave it up as a bad lot. A day or two later I decided I would use up the last sticks and got the peak fixed smiley. Don't give up! Like blink says maybe stress is delaying ovulation.
