lower abdo pain during intercourse, is this normal?? please help?

hello,
im in need of some advice please,
DH and i have been trying to conceive for a while now, and the last couple of days i have had flashing smiley face on my clearblue opk, so we have been DTD only last night it hurt, not a bad pain, more of a dull ache in the same area i get period pains, is this just because ovulation is due?
has anyone had anything similar? should i go to my docs?

He could have been hitting your cervix which if caught 'right' can be bloody agonising. Always make sure you're properly ready for penetration.

If it continues go for a check up. I remember quite a deep pain during sex when I caught chlamydia. Not saying that's what it is but there may be something up. It might not happen again though

And yes could just be ovulation pain.
