Using CBFM after miscarriage

I have had a rollercoaster of a week- found out I was pregnant on the Saturday, started bleeding on Sunday, had a stay in hospital because they thought it was ectopic, turned out to be MC which was confirmed yesterday. My CBFM arrived the day I had my BFP so I thought HA! I don't need it! But now I do Hmm
Does anyone know how long you should wait to start using it? Docs say you should wait for a period before TTC to make dates easier- would this work for CBFM? Any thoughts/advice/experience gratefully received!

I'm not sure if my experience applies as I've got the old one, but mine didn't work particularly well the month following my MCs. I think if its the first month of you using it its best to wait for your period, or the data it will be "learning" your cycle from will be screwy.
So sorrry for your MC, good luck. Flowers

agreed internetFOREVER, i think while your body is getting over the MC, i would wait for a 'normal' cycle then start using, it can take a while for everything to settle down after a loss, FX and best of luck

Sorry for your loss beccaroo

I've just started using the CBFM on my third cycle post mc as I wanted to try and get some control over my cycles and time dtd better. Unfortunately my cycles are all over the place still, this coupled with the monitors first cycle of getting to know you has meant that I've not found it very useful. I will carry on as I have made the investment now.

I certainly wouldn't use it in the wtf cycle and wait until your first AF then use it, but bare in mind that it then may take a cycle of getting to know you as well.
