TTC after coming off BC early?

Hi ladies,

Just thought I would start a thread for everyone who is in my boat- TTC after coming off BC early?

I've been on Gederal for a few years, I stopped after taking a new pack for one week. (Stopped on 19/08). I had a withdrawal bleed 2 days later. Now I've not got a clue as to when I will be ovulating! Planning on DTD a lot and checking (and hoping) for a BFP at the end of October, but I am soo impatient! It literally seems like everybody else is pregnant, and it's making me feel really rotten! Sad

The fertility apps don't really help me as prior to coming off the pill I ran 2 packs back to back. Argh! Come on body, get with the program!

I've just thought, I've noticed my CM is reddy/brown. I've just ready another page which says this could be an implantation bleed, so now I'm part totally excited andpart totally devestated, because I could just be reading in to things whcih aren't really there! Confused

Hi!
Know how you feel, I came off the pill 17th August after honeymoon, half way through a pack, had withdraw bleed. How do I work out when I'm due on?!This week I've felt like I'm about to cry constantly, bit of tummy ache/funny feeling tummy, and lots of clear, stringy discharge (sorry tmi!)I keep telling myself that it's just withdraw symptoms but can't help hoping and DH even suggested I might be pg! X

Me too!

Some of the forums aren't that ehlpful either as it's all "days past ovulation" and cycle days, and I'm just sat in what feels like no mans land!

What makes it worst, if I'm not pregnant by the end of August, the hubby wants to stop trying as he thinks being born in July or August is detrimental to a child as you'll be the youngest in the year (which I understand).

I think the clear stringy discharge is a sign you're ovulating?

Aww well you'd only have to put off for a couple of months.
Yeah I have no idea how to work out cycles Confused think I'm just going to try and not think about it until AF shows up (or doesn't!) then go from there! X

Also, all symptoms I thought I was having seem to have disappeared so think it was just hormones and wishful thinking! Sad x

Baffers100 · 08/09/2014 10:02

Ah no!
I had really bad cramps yesterday. I was convinced I was going to come on last night but no joy, so I'm thinking maybe, just maybe I am ovulatnig and had magically fallen pregnant.
Fingers crossed for you :)

Ahh good luck!!
Had sore boobs yesterday, just think it's my mind though coz every 'symptoms' disappears!
Hubby is away this week too so feeling really sorry for myself! Haha x

Have you tried ovulation tests to see if you're ovulating?

SallyBann · 09/09/2014 18:06

No not yet, trying not to take it too seriously for the first few months as think it can become really stressful instead of exciting! Just downloaded the Ovia app which is quite good and has countdown to when to POAS - mine says 9 days! Unless AF appears before then! X

Baffers100 · 09/09/2014 20:00

I downloaded Ovia too. It's saying to POAS in 20 days. Think everything is out of whack having run 2 packs together and finishing early!
I don't fancy doing ovulation test. I just know that would start the process of TTC consuming me!

Oh no... I've just caught myself looking at pregnancy tests on ebay! Somebody stop me Blush x

Tranquilitybaby · 10/09/2014 22:58

It might be worth it just to see what your body is doing as stopping the pill mid pack could've caused things to go out of whack this month anyway.

Baffers100 · 11/09/2014 09:13

Lol- I have been looking at the ClearBlue digital ovulation thingamy bobs on ebay!

I did a test yesterday as I was wondering what all these cramps were with no AF- BFN which I sort of suspected. God tip though- you can get 2 early detection pregnancy tests in Poundland for £1! :)
