If so what does it feel like?

Could ovulation pain been confused with implantation pain?

From my perspective: bloomin' Norah, yes! But I think I have a few general problems with the lady functions which means anything that can be painful, will be!

With me, implantation was accompanied by kind of pink spotting for a week - thought it was a very light period and therefore took a good 2 months to realise what was going on.

StillWishihadabs · 04/09/2014 16:20

Yes. Took a while to work it out though.

lychee3 · 08/09/2014 02:13

Yes I can feel it. I get a day / day and a half of mild cramping. really mild though so some months I don't even notice

I also have a tiny bit of spotting but that started when I had the copper coil put in as it made my periods much heavier. I didn't have it before that. I don't have the coil now so maybe I won't have it I'm not sure yet !

Yes I feel it too it goes on for a couple of days as if the system is firing itself up before the egg actually pops out.

I also get a bum spike sometimes too - it's a real stop you in your tracks sort of pain.

I had spotting for 1 day only when I wiped which was implantation.

Yeah I felt ovulation and I felt implantation, ovulation was like mild cramps for a short period. Implantation felt like a electric zap!

sparechange · 08/09/2014 15:23

Yes, but only on one side.
I get a vague grumble for a couple of days and then feel the pop
The only way I can describe it is like squeezing a spot!
It has woken me up before when it has happened in the night

Yes, feel ovulation acutely and have to take pain meds occasionally.

Felt implantation as a different ache, more like a period pain, and had spotting as well.

thejoysofboys · 08/09/2014 15:32

I get ovulation pains. My ovaries feel swollen and sore every month - more so since I had IVF but that's probably cos I now know how to idenify the pain.

Never felt implantation though.

yes sometimes and sometimes it bloody hurts

its only since having dc though

ScaryMartian · 08/09/2014 17:17

Mine started after dc too. Feels worse than period pain and usually lasts about a day getting gradually worse until I presume the egg pops then gradually declines.

Shroomboom · 08/09/2014 17:47

Yes, but it seems I feel mine differently to every one else on the thread Confused The best way to describe it is to imagine being hit with a baseball bat between your legs… It really hurts! I don't get pains anywhere else, just down there. A hot water bottle sometimes helps!
