hi i'm 21 years old and myself and my fiance have been trying for baby number 1 for little over a year.
i have been to my doctor who took blood tests and diagnosed we with PCOS Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. i have high levels of the male hormone testosterone and the doctor explained it may take several months before i get a BFP but it is not impossible to get pregnant without treatment/ medication.
my average cycle is 44 days with my longest being 52 days and my shortest 37 days.
i ovulated on 04/08/2014 and experienced spotting on the 9/08/2014 it was only a drop of blood that lasted 1 day. (my usual period is 7 days long and extremely heavy with uncomfortable cramps at the start).
since then i havent had any other symptoms of pregnancy other than TIREDNESS (i always want to nap and my eyes feel really heavy) BLOATING (my stomach swelled out that much you would swear i was in the final weeks of pregnancy) and the big one a MISSED PERIOD (my period was due on 18/08/2014 today is the 03/09/2014 and still no sign of it after 16 days)
i have taken 1 HPT last sunday morning 31/08/2014 but it was negative
when should i test again
and how long did it take everyone before they got their BFP
could it take longer for the hcg to show due to my high testosterone hormone levels etc ?
