Do I test or wait it out?

So I'm 5 days late and so far no normal signs that AF is about to appear. My periods have never been this late before. My boobs feel a mixture of achey and then pains directly around one part which never normally happens with more mucus than normal, I tend to go really dry just before I start, which hasn't happened. (Sorry tmi)

I've only just got back from America and have read that jet lag can effect periods. I also use a copper IUD so I know it's a really low chance (if any)

I'm just so confused.

If you're 5 days late and having those symptoms, I would say test now!

I was 5 days late after coming back from USA in the spring. I think the jet lag does have an effect. I didn't have sore boobies or different cm though...

There was no need to take a test because AF came this morning. I've not cried so hard in a long time. We had agreed to start ttc at some point before Christmas but I had never thought how much I had actually wanted to be pregnant. Thanks for your help
