TTC a boy!

DH are trying to sway the odds for a boy. We have a beautiful DD1 and would like to have one of each and so trying to sway the odds for a boy. Going to try the Shettles method. Just wondering if anyone else is attempting something similar and has and had the result they wanted ?!?! Currently on CD14 so we are getting close!!!

Using a fertility lubricant such as preseed is supposed to sway boy, as is a high carb/fat diet.

Well I'm doing a very good job of the carb/fat diet .... Will try the lubricant . Thanks ??

I've had one of each using a fertility lubricant (Conceive Plus) so I doubt that works.

DTD closer to OV apparently works as girl sperm live longer and boy sperm swim faster. So they say!

I got a boy but I have no idea how (we just dtd eod) so cant advise!

Good luck but think they're just old wives tales. I concieved day on 15 and was blessed with a girl, so that throws that argument out the window dtd on or after day 14.

Tbh having a boy would just be an added bonus! I wouldnt mind having another girl and would just be thankful for being able to have another ??

Because it's supposed to alter the ph levels. X soerm favour alkaline and y favour acidic (I think it's that way round!)
